Thread: TGIF Ayala

  1. #111

I visited this thread a while back and decided to still try out TGIF Ayala, because I had such a positive dining experience at the Yokohama branch. Well... I deserve an "I told you so" look from you, guys!

I was sorely disappointed with TGIF Ayala. My dining experience was so horrible in there in terms of everything -- customer service, price, quality of food and food serving!

My bill almost reached 900 for some measly snacks. I think these guys are scrimping on the ingredients and charging customers premium prices. Their "to share" servings were a joke. Can you imagine paying 195 for 3 shot glasses of dessert? Ingon ana kagamay. As in shot glass ra jud ilang gisudlan sa "parfait" which tasted so ho-hum and unchilled. Ilang "platter" kay inihap pod. Ang platter ray dako pero ang food portion kay excuse me. Four small pieces of everything ra tawn. The taste wasn't even good. I had to wait close to an hour for food to be served -- and what's worse is that the place only had two other customers aside from myself.

    I wished I ate elsewhere.

My first visit there was fine. I ordered a meal that has a really big burger, some fries and a bottomless iced tea. So far the taste is good, or maybe na-timingan lang ko na nindot ang luto. For some people who will visit there, maka-ingon gyud na tab-ang ang lasa mainly because they don't use vetsin

But then, that's going to be my first and last visit (I hope). Nindot tong lugara if you have lots of money to burn. Sadly I do not have the luxury of expensive foods.
