To me it is. Although there are religions that are more tolerant than others.

When religion imposes compliance to a doctrine that is above the laws of love then that is contrary to reason and conscience. A good example would be, disallowing marriages between persons of different faiths. This is very much a common practice in most religions.

SOME people are so uptight and refuse to understand.
SOME people are confident enough and open-minded enough to welcome other people's ideas and opinions without compromising their own sets of beliefs.
SOME are simply those who don't give a (tae).

How is that against reason and conscience, bro?

    - Enslaving because religion controls the mind. It imposes fear to those who challenge its doctrines. Example: How many religions today preach that for one to be saved one must be a part of their religion to do so.
Do you mean all religions control the mind? Maybe certain religions do, but not all.

With Christianity, I think that's not necessarily true. I think the opposite is the case. The Gospels after all do teach us to love God with all our minds. Also, I think that the heart of Christianity is all about freedom and joy. Christ came to save us from our sins, so that we may have freedom and so that our joy may be made complete. I'm reminded of that SFC song, "It is for freedom He set us free. It is for freedom He set us free... I'm free!"

Some people see religion as enslaving because they do not realize that religion is just a blueprint of a blueprint. They take it way too seriously-- forgetting the whole point of why it was created in the first place. Religion is enslaving if you become too much of a moralist forgetting the essence of Grace. I have found freedom in the religion which i belong to which is Christianity. And this freedom does not mean that i can do whatever i want to do in this life. This freedom that i know tells me that it is a joy to submit one's life to an awesome, powerful, merciful, all-knowing and loving God.

^ lol freedom and submit in the same sentence

Hehehehe. Yes it may sound funny but that's the way it is for me. I believe in the greatness of God that I don't find it difficult to hand my whole life to Him. And this life is not about me. It's about Him.

Does being an atheist changes one's life? What's that atheistic hope they claim?...

Please do begin your sales pitch right here, show us the beauty of the atheistic world..seriously.

Please don't start by highlighting religious or theistic problems nor the problems it gives to the world..start purely in an atheistic point of view.
