E. coli outbreak spreads to 11th state

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Even if you wash the spinach, you still could be at risk.

Sober warnings for salad lovers came from federal health officials Friday as they struggled to pinpoint a multistate E. coli outbreak that killed one person and sickened dozens more.

Bagged spinach -- the triple-washed, cello-packed kind sold by the hundreds of millions of pounds each year -- is the suspected source of the bacterial outbreak, Food and Drug Administration officials said.

Jugs, thanks sa info hilig ra ba ko mopalit ug bagged veggies and spinach for salads i like my spinach with nonfat soy dressing. I wont buy the bagged ones then for a while. thanks for that.

btw, glad your Mama liked the danggit i sent you. I think we all love Danggit. Especially here sa States naa tanan klase nga bulad except Danggit. Mother Dee bought them for me. Thanks Mother Dee for the fast shipment. Giablihan sa U.S. Customs Inspection ang box naay stamp ang box na opened for inspection maayo wala ilabay ang Danggit, lol you know how strict they are here when it comes to foreign foods especially nga bulad kung baho pa. Good thing my neighbor did not knock on my door saying that the whole place smells like a dead cat. Usahay pa na sila motawag ug pulis para mo knock sa imong door kay? naay neighbor mag complain nga someone is cooking a dead cat kay stinky kuno, lol its true bitaw it happens sometimes bahala sila kaon gyud ko ug buwad.
