unsa man d.i difference between reference gpu n non reference(ambot unsa tawag ani)
^ Reference design would follow the circuit design as well as the components values & cooling system as designed by AMD or Nvidia... clock and memory frequencies would follow also... for the Non-reference design, it would be the improvement implemented by the board partners. these would always have faster clock and memory frequencies... and can be over clocked more than the Reference design... these boards would always have a better cooling system, better circuitry and better component values and component quality compared to its Reference design counterpart but would always carry a "price premium"...
if you're planning to have an Open LCS on your rig, including the GPUs, it would be nice to purchase the Reference design boards due to the availability of the GPU cooling blocks. of course, "chip cooling blocks" for the Non-reference design boards could also be purchased from the 3rd party manufacturers... better looking ang GPU cooling blocks for the Reference design board's as well as better ang function nya kay ang uban components on the GPU board maapil man ug pa bugnaw...

^^ so mean ani mas nindot ang non-reference nga gpu.?
n bro lloyd puno man imo inbox..naa unta q message nimo..
depende ra gyud bro... sa akoa, wla man ko plano mag Open LCS so, mas ok nko ang Non-reference variant... sa mga mag Open LCS, preferred nila ang Reference variant... mao ni akoang na observed. i might be wrong on this assumption... better, if mo comment ani ang mga nag Open LCS...
okis bro, mag delete ko's inbox...
^^ :O nosebleed..newbie pa man q bro when come to this hobby..dli pa q kahibaw sa mga terms..

heres the link of my thread... https://www.istorya.net/forums/comput...l#post14819801Yo! storyans,
with my laptop given to my mom earlier than expected (the plan was to give her my laptop after buying a gaming pc but something urgent came up ) so i'm left with nothing now.
i know that there lots of threads here about pc builds but all of them are outdated. i'm also well aware of the fact that there are lots of builds over the net but let's face it... some of the parts not available here in the computers shops in cebu. with that said, i want to ask for your help on what gaming pc build is the best given the limited ra ang items nga naa dri sa cebu. lisud man gud ning order online... wa ko salig labi na shipping2 pa jud.
here are things that might help you decide on what build is best for me:
1. budget 50k... don't need monitor (got 24" 1920x1080 monitor) and speakers/headset (got both)...
2. i'm not a fanboy of any brandname... my pc is not for show nor prestige... want every peso counts a.k.a bang per buck
3. Overclock: yes, but only after warranty expires or once an applications requires it
4. multi-monitor: probably later
5. crossfire or sli: probably later or maybe not
6. for games like dota2, dmc, ac... not really a fan of racing or shooter games but once i start playing one i ain't stopping till i finish it. i want to play those games at high settings at least... ultra settings is not necessary.
7. i would use it 5-24 hrs a day depending if there's work or not. i work only on weekdays so weekends is a game marathon
8. for storage 1tb is probably more than enough for me... ssd is optional but if you can squish it within the budget that would be great.
apili pud ug price ug kung asa mapalit. thanks.
edit: kalimot diay ko... ang consumption sa kurrenty pud... if pwd di kaau buaya.
pwd ra diri ang reply, pwd ra pud didto sa ako thread. thanks.
