bit about tube amps. Coz most pro harp players use distortions, delays and tube amps.

Tube amps, bullet mics, delay and reverb may be the usual effects. Digital Distortion is not usual and even frowned upon by most blues artists. It is most commonly used by rock harpists like John Popper(even has effects knobs built into his shure58 mic) who plays fast but is not known for his tone.
There is one local player i heard that also seems to use distortion heavily.
The only distortion that is usual is when the tube amp is pushed to overdrive.

Its fun to plug and play sometimes on a POD (when alone) but I won't dare play it in a jam. Mabukbokan nya ta sa guitarista or malabayan ug kamatis.
