our government and people should learn something from this calamity

    1. Do not throw garbage everywhere, plastic bags and non degradeable things can cause clogging sa mga canals and water ways those causing floods on the streets. Mao ang primary cause sa floods sa dalan
    2. Cebu City local government should ban plastic, kanang plastic sa pagpalit ug pan gani, or kanang plastic sa icewater. imagine palit ka ug isa ra ka pan, isa ka plastic dayun. why not use paper bag?
Big cities such as Los Angeles will start to ban plastics starting January 2014.
    3. they should widen not only the streets but also the canals specially in high urbanize areas such as cities.

we cant control nature, but people can adjust against it. sadly sa kinaiya nato mga pinoy, number 1 palang gani, dli na masunod, iayahay survival, iyahay labay ug basura bisag asa.

Bai, dili kay tungod pinoy ta mao na ing.ani ta. Any country can suffer the same fate. Remember Katrina. Your post is making no sense. I understand that you are affected about what happened, but this isn't the time to point fingers and blame someone. Pinoy ka nga.

duuuuuudeee. the thing that happened in Tacloban isn't an ordinary flooding caused by garbage.

it's called a storm surge caused by one of the strongest typhoons of all-time. og wala kay mabuhat ana maski unsa pa kalimpyo og kanindot imong drainage when you're living in a coastal area like Tacloban City. the best you can do is evacuate from it.

but imagine how overwhelming it is trying to evacuate 200,000 people away from the city. and where are they supposed to go? i'm not sure if our President understood that when he managed to highlight the BLAME (again) to the local government in his NDRRMC press briefing that ruined his delusional ZERO-casualty promise
