AFAIK philvolcs location are more precise since they are more familiar with the place, as to the measurement well i may have some doubts on them... USGS may have accurate measurement but in terms of location, i dont know... because they are monitoring from miles away... compared to philvolcs which put sensor on the area...

remember that PAG-ASA employee nga gigrill ni Pnoy kay palpak kuno iyang forecasting. well that same employee requested before for an upgrade and funding for their facilities/equipment pero gibaliwala ni Pnoy kay mahal ra kuno. that employee is now in another country, that country is enjoying his services/skills instead of his own Filipino countrymen because he was not appreciated here by our own president

Pnoy replaced that employee with another pero mao ra gihapon, slow to update, still less accurate. FYI lang weather forecasting is never 100% accurate but you can improve it by updating/adding your equipment

as for the earthquakes, samot mas less predictable. there's no way you can predict earthquakes and there's no way with our current technology here in the Philippines where we can immediately pinpoint the exact epicenter of an earthquake

so all in all, i don't think the people in PAG-ASA and Philvolcs deserve your rant. they can only do so much with the LIMITED resources they have. and by resources, i mean BOTH human and technological resources

it's better that you ASK your president kung asa padung atong taxes, asa na gigasto atong PDAF og DAP nga dagko kaayo
