Plan 999. P999 for your internet bill, and not internet and landline. Separate ang phone bill nimo gihapon.

Did any of you guys get any downtime last night?
Was going to tut my bro-in-law about p2p apps but we suddenly got a DC. Pinging the gateway (used by new 999 subcribers yeilded negative results)... God! This made me remember the long DCs when I was still on the highest residential plan for PLDT... Wanted to throttle the modem....

forgot, il check it agian when i get home. pero i also tried 10.0.0 and 10.0.1 and 192.0.0.1

naa kay idea unsa na ilang IP gi gamit kay ni check nako sa defualt gateway dli visible ang IP

you have to check if your lan is running on the same subnet mask as that of your modem.

try mo to -- set a static ip address first, use any ip from 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.254.
subnet 255.255.255.0
gateway 192.168.1.1

then access mo http://192.168.1.1, user is admin, password is 1234

you can access it now.

hehe i could hack the modem/router of PLDT 990 Plan 384kbps then share it in any PC the 4 port are usable you can use it to network any computer just like in my house ...my other 2 boardmates are connected without buying a router aheheh

To new myDSL Plan 999 subscribers, could you please give me the brand of the DSL Modem that was given to you? I'd just like to now since my sister-in-law and her husband just got connected under the same plan and I was surprised that PLDT was using newer DSL modems...
I wasn't able to really examine the modem further for markings but I found 4 outgoing ports (so I assumed that this is similar to Globeline Broanbands DSL modem which also functions as a router).
I want to help them make full use of their modem(/router?) by helping them connect their other pcs in their home to this modem.
