Gilas lost to NBL Allstars 85-86. Douthit was outplayed - In fact for 3 games now. Dunno if he was really outscored or he was just not giving is all to prevent injury.
Good news is Japhet Aguilar and especially Junmar Fajardo played great.
Gilas earlier beat hawke's bay hawks 82-78, and 73-30. Hawke's bay were coached by the legendary tab baldwin.

ANOTHER NEWS: Its now official. Lebanon is Banned for 4 years and they will be replaced by UAE. It could have been the last fiba game of Fadi El Khatib.

some updates:- No more replacement for lebanon. Qatar, Japan and Hongkong will advance to the 2nd round.- NBA draftee Kazemi will not play for Iran.- Jordan will play without Daghles, Abbas brothers and Rasheim Wright.- China still as strong as ever. They just won all their tune up games against european teams. Their line up comes with 3 7-footers.
