Trivia: Crucifixion already existed and practiced before Crist.

There is a word bigger than respect, and that is tolerance. The only reason why humanity hasn't killed itself off.

The DEMAND for RESPECT is the MAIN REASON why there are INDEED conflicts and wars in the world. I prefer tolerance to respect.

I assume you are an istoryan admin, the people here are just doing thier job as to "comment" on the post, as that is what the TS is asking on his original post. SO as admin or an istoryan in a forum i really thought na makasabot ra ka.

What people are referring here is the girl (and you) should know the definiton of the word RESPECT.
ANd hey people have different beliefs, people have different norms, but it doesnt that even those people that dont believe in GOD had the right to disrespect the other, dba?
Bisag lahi2x ta ug tinuohan, dapat lang jd morespeto. I know our muslim brothers respect Christian holidays, and same thing to most of us.

    Its all about respect.

..and yet people are wondering why there are conflicts and wars in the world?
hehe sakto brod, I don't care if he's the admin he can ban me if he want. We all have different thoughts on things and dapat nya huna hunaon what he think and believe may not be same with other people. Lets not go deeper on the issue because the only issue here is " respect" whatever your context and purpose in mind.

    I disagree....

    respect is not forced...
    It is gained...

Tolerance is forced...so it has negative effects.

    A respectable person gains respect...
And God being a supreme being must be respected!

The only reason this even mattered is because someone posted it on Facebook. If it wasn't, then all the other people who did it could have done it without anyone else really bothering to notice it. So, if this is an established fact, you'd then blame Facebook? *shakes head*

once again you are an istoryan admin, and people like me are just doing thier "job" to post a comment about the topic. THe TS opened up a topic and he asks for comments. Therefore people comment on it(duh?) no one is blaming anyone, no one is threateting to crufied you.
Now as a topic in istorya.net people are commenting on the disprespectfull action of the girl and thats it, nothing is being amplified until somebody (ahemm) drag the typical athiesm wit on this forum.

    Tolerance cannot be controlled.
What the faithfull christians want is just plain respect in a Holy week.

.. and yes im an athiest too, but on this topic Im on the side of Respect and peace.
