IMHO - These are the things distracts me most sa image - the white background and the shine on her chick. I suggest do a tight crop kay you have too much headroom, there is nothing interesting about the background so crop that off. With the chick, suggest do some burning to ease the shine a bit.

For me I consider this as a snapshot..not much expression and nothing interesting. But If you would include his environment and surroundings that would tell a story then that would a strong portrait.

I prefer the lower left image of her..nice expression and love the dimples. The larger image for me the pose is a bit mature for her. Nice take over all.

Was this shot with a Canon T50? Nice effect, subtle tones and good emotion. But for me the composition and posing needs a bit work. The hands are cropped out and her head is a bit crouched in making her neck a little bit hidden. I suggest directing the model to raise her chest, putting her hands side her hips and chin up a little bit.

Try cropping off or cloned out the hand on the right for its really distracting..
