Kids from 1-3yr old are so sensitive on TV commercials. They would stare on the TV screen when it is commercial time then back in playing when regular show starts...

the commercial spread like fire.. and it was always inserted into every persons topics... sa ako friend gani ko kahibalo nga naa d.i bag-o nga commercial and so I watched.

jollibee doesn't have that kind of commercial... simple
the church is the way to do it.. because there are lots of religious fanatics that will eat whatever the churches throw at them....

if that is the case... then i will give u a case pod... i do remember the church here in the philippines are campaigning to boycott the proctor & gamble products like safeguard, head & shoulders, etc... coz they owners in the US daw kuno are worshipping the satan daw kuno and giving charities to these followers... hehehe i dont know if u remember with this...

so with this controversies, did the people here stopped buying the P&G products?? hell no...

whether this priests will campaign to boycot the mcdo, daghan gihapon nang mo kaon sa mcdo...

pero gi-bawi naman pod sa mcdo, then ilaha pod nang decision... i have to respect it...

you are the one making assumptions by stating that those little children are in a best friends relationship when its clearly its a BFGF relationship otherwise he would had said expensive to have a best friend or directly call each other best friend. Best friend is a give and take relationship while BFGF.. the GF usually takes everything

BFGF is not real but portrayed only as friendship to kids... thats your assumption.

no one is basing on how they raise their children from TV commercial, the point is.. parents/guardians may not be around when young children are watching the commercial and may picture BFGF relationship on young children a norm which is not appropriate. Its natural for the parents not to encourage or even discipline their children if they were having a relationship esp at that age.

by the way you respond you also agree its not appropriate. would you agree to ban that commercial?

yeah those kids are referring to friendship relationship because an GFBF relationship is on its own a type of exclusive friendship relationship. Kids attach meaning to words base on what they learn from adults and not from other kids only....

So when your three or four year old son or daughter tells you he/she wants a certain kid in her class to be her/his bf/gf dont take it as if she wants him/her to be gf/bf in terms adult understand. Because kids do not grasp the idea of that kind of relationship and what it entails except what they can see from adults. They may probably attracted but its probably normal it just part of the development in their sexuality....

I have a three yr old son, i sometime tease him about about this kid his age sad na amo kapitbahay as iya uyab, i dont find anything unhealthy with that. Beacuse even sa iya school when you hear the kids talk they say the wirdest thing like "uyab mi blah..." "mag menyo mi ni blah blah" does the word uyab means the same uyab between adults as between children. or menyo between adults and children....

LOL the P&G had a down sale at that time.... wa gani mo palit akong mga tita ug mama ato nga time...

yes they won't stop buying because not all filipinos are gullible... but most of them didn't buy... kibaw naka mga religious cohorts...

I'll give you an example pud..... RH bill... daghan kaau nag rally sa Manila.... ge interview sa reporter ang mga nag rally...

Reporter: "San ka totol sa RH bill?"
Some Guy: "Pabor ito sa abortion.... NO TO ABORTION"

Reporter: "Pabor sa abortion Sigurado ka? "

wala man gani kibaw ang most of the people nga nag rally.... nag rally2x lang kai ingon ang simbahan....

I respect their decision, I was just also airing my sentiment about the matter.... I'm errrd... about Mcdonalds following the church commanders.... that quick.. hahaay... para lang siguro maka sales sugot nalang....

yeah... cows are equal to human life there.... it's already there before McDonalds.. so McDonalds have to follow that..

but this pulling out the commercial is absurd in my point of view. tsk2x what a bunch of bummers...

I guess I should expect more of this and will get immune someday..
