kay usually ako, i do admit naa koy ma palit usahay nga guba.. because naka limot kog check... but if it's someone else ako gi sugo, ako maguwang mka blame nuon ko sa seller ug sa ako sister ngano wa man nmo nabantayan...

please take note... EVEN SOMEONE IS A ISTORYA MEMBER... it doesnt mean she cant scam you.. it doesnt mean that the person cares about the name.. some scammers even carry the name of Istorya, anyone can...

so careful lang jud.. this is a forum.. anyone can be a member... so be careful.. think a million times before you buy...

again, do your own transaction, do not let someone do it for you...

hi guys,

sent the defective item na to a repair shop in Manila, their findings is exposure malfunction and also recommend shutter replacement. the cost is 3,750 for the repair and 7,750 for the shutter replacement plus the 2-way shipping fee of 1,000.

i bought this unit for 16.5 k, meaning the cost of this 2nd hand unit is now reached to 29,000!

brand new nikon d40 only cost 25,000. Hard Lesson to forget, Big Mistake to buy without thinking. Anyway, that's the price of being so trustful. Good morning guys! Happy shooting!

About 2yrs ago its only 19-21t,manla-cebu gray-marketprice. ts precautions lng, please let the service center take a sample of shots from your new shutter w/ EXIF data. (Opanda IExif is a professional Exif viewer in Windows) so you can see its new(notsurplus) and the count start 0 to 1first shots.the total is from 30k to 100k. depende ra sa pagmanufacturd. google lang and you can see a lot of diffrnt expriences. thks God Bless.

@Istoryan99 got to cancel the shutter replacement coz it cost 7,750, the technician called me earlier today, sagad na raw adjustment sa pag repair sa exposure malfunction (cost 3,750), me matitira pa daw "thin pink line" sa upper part of the frame photo, so kung gusto ko raw talaga matanggal yun, kailangan me palitan isang part which cost to another P3,000 plus. So, ginawa ko nalang (just to give update on the cam) i cancelled the shutter replacement and proceed to the repair. For now, total damaged reached P4,600. Next month, il send the item back to change the part needed and replace its shutter ( i need to save another 10k plus for this).

@tamse: advise NOTED sir.. actually, already learned that.
