Democracy does not work for stupid people. A country cannot be run by and through the decisions of the mass population when majority of its people are illiterate, gullible and poor. Through time, our government and those who run it, have run it, and are thinking of running it have learned that the mass majority of Filipinos are ignorant. And thus, because of this, it allows them to do everything they want and get away with it.

It doesn't mean that just because they are in the position(s), we are letting them to do everything they want.

Btw sis, what is your basis in saying that majority of Filipinos are ignorant?

Wishing for the success of this rhetoric, it's so sublime, but if realized then everyone of us is the victor, it has a better chance if it is also very well supported.

Very straightforward, majority of Filipinos are illiterate therefore are gullible. We all criticize our government and we have so many qualms that we forget it's the people who placed those officials in power in the first place. Don't dream that our country is in a good state because it isn't. It's poor, overly populated, crime rates are high, the problems our country is facing is surmountable. We don't just blame the government we blame the people. It is nothing but absolutely reflective of what kind of decision makers Filipinos really are. If we talk about corruption, even ordinary citizens are guilty of this act, a single simple bribe is a gesture that corruption is okay. Majority of Filipinos are plainly stupid.

corruption... mao jud ni nag hinder sa growth sa Philippines. Tan awa ang uban nasud, taiwan, hongkong, singapore. nindut kaau mga infrastructure. mismo ato dalan, dalan lang, d pa maayo ug pagka asphalt. sakto unta ang budget, overprice pa gani. tungod sa corruption. walang corrupt, hindi maghihirap ang Pilipinas. budget deficit will go down. more infrastucture project will be constructed. money saved from corruption will be used for schools and hospitals.

    We all criticize our government.
---So it's not good to criticize our gov't.

Reality check (let's ask ourselves): Is there no single instance wherein we criticized our gov't.?

Don't dream that our country is in a good state because it isn't.
---It's still good to be optimistic.

Reality check (let's ask ourselves): Dont' we dream for a better Pinas? As of this time, what contributions we've done to make Pinas better?

Absolutely reflective of what kind of decision makers Filipinos really are.
---It's still good to exercise our right to suffrage.

Reality check (let's ask ourselves): Are all (100%) our voted/elected candidates (starting from our Brgy...) not guilty of corruption?

Even ordinary citizens are guilty of corruption.
---Hopefully this doesn't include us & our beloved family members.

Reality check (let's ask ourselves): Are we 100% confident that never an instance we committed corruption in our own ways?

Majority of Filipinos are plainly stupid.
---Let's help turn majority into minority.

Reality check: Have we tried/experienced teaching/educating/correcting them?
