this logic is not necessarily true. does that mean that if Gwen will be governor again, majority of her constituents LIKE her & VOTED for her? I don't think so... That's the "beauty" of Philippine politics, it can be manipulated, so that doesn't mean that who won the elections DESERVE it or won fair and square or BOTH.

What do you expect? In the Philippines, anything negative hurled against a politician is always gossip.

Of course! But a gossip can be only either way: a hearsay or a fact. And what Tomas' said is obviously a hearsay.

Do you think Tomas will expose this even without anything on paper just to spite Gwen? People in this level know what they know and have their sources, this is a serious allegation. If the Garcias doesn't think this is true, then let them sue Tomas. But I bet they won't, kay magka bonbon unya ilang nawong. Ngano man? Because they know IT IS TRUE kung magbinukinga'y na.

Personal credibility-wise and from personal experience in dealing with both of them, I find Tomas more credible than Gwen. Mas na'ay aksyon, si Gwen puro ra satsat ug photo-ops.

c'mon. Tomas' is supposedly exposing this just to get a verbal issue against Winston. It's not even an "expose" but a simple plain "gossip" broadcasted in public.

We all know the issues hounding GSIS right now. But this supposedly "added issue" is not moral and decent.

and this is more about Winston and Tomas, not Gwen and Tomas.

if you say Tomas is more credible than Winston, nobody can stop you from believing this Tomas' gossip.

Giddyboy likes to pretend that we have no right to criticize Gwen unless we have solid proof and unless she has been convicted in a court of law. He forgets the fact that some of us might actually know Gwen better than him. Since he consistently denies that he has any links to the Garcias, then we might presume that he knows absolutely nothing about them and if we consider that some forumers here might be close enough to Gwen either through personal business dealings or because they know somebody very close to her, then he has already lost the credibility war.

So it's a catch-22 situation for Giddyboy. On the one hand, he could never admit that he is connected to the Garcias, and that he is on their payroll as that would automatically solidify the already strong suspicion that he is a pro-Garcia lackey with no credibility on this thread. In essence, it will be the final nail in the coffin of the thing called Giddyboy's reputation. On the other hand, since he denies any links to the Garcias, he has no first-hand knowledge at all regarding their activities and reputation as a family, something which a lot of forumers who belong to that social circle would have more direct knowledge of, and hence are better positioned to comment on any corruption allegations than he could.

Summary: He loses, we win.

mind u, I am not stopping you from criticizing anybody, the garcias or what have you. This is a forum and everybody here is allowed to argue, debate, agree and disagree w/ each other, as long as they are within the forum rules. Why from Tomas? Winston & GSIS should be giving a public apology to the pensioners. Of course, they won't because their ugly faces are just stonewalling and railroading the issue leading to whitewash.
