So within the UP system, they do not have the same standard? My diploma does not say UP cebu. It just says University of the Philippines. The 1s I got in UP cebu was counted as 1s when i transferred to Diliman.

sorry for that misunderstanding. but what i was trying to say is that the list is NOT AT ALL RELIABLE because of the inclusion of UP system as a whole aside from the UPD, UPLB, etc. which also appeared in the list. if they include the whole UP system in the ranking, then they shudn't include other campuses because it comprises as a whole already. i think it's contradicting. how cud u rank the whole UP system at no. 2 while UPD is at no. 1 and the rest such as UPLB, UPM, UPV also rank somewhere in the top 10. isn't it contradicting? and if those individual rankings got by other UP campuses, as seen on the list, if u find their mean score, UP system shud be at no. 6, not no. 2., which in that case I strongly disagree, by the way (without offense meant to other schools).

So sad the PRC Rule now has been changed. They would only consider a school/university to be top performing if the examinees registered exceeds 30. Luoy kaayo nang uban kurso sa school nga gamay ra enrollees bisag 100% passing sila kay they won't be recognized anymore....

... Just lamenting on the sad fact that USC Chemistry is not the top 1 performing school sa PRC last year. Tanawa ang ila top 1, di gani 100%. huhuhuhu!

but to get a 100% score for acknowledgment as a top performing school in certain exam, there shud be other factors to consider in order to be recognized. that's the work of mathematics! logic! consider a race of two persons. one proudly celebrated after he finished first. but how many were they at the start of the race? only two. that means u cant consider a race as a top race in the land unless three dozens or more participated. but don't be sad abt ur school not ranked. unless prc ranked it as worst-performing school.

Just got in and read all the comments...we are all proud of our alma mater (there's nothing to argue with that). This is but a person's observation/opinion..."could be" not a reliable source (there are even misspelled word(s) on the post). Respect each others voice but beware because you're pride is swallowing you. Be open minded. Weigh things. Think wisely.

good point....math and logic...what if 1 lang ang motake gikan sa isa ka certain school..then makapasar xa..so 100%..ya top performaing school na dayun?!?! dili sad keu logical!

Then you would enroll in that school hoping that there would be only 1 enrollee (you) and top the board
