para naku, mas daku man ang 3 yrs ra iya ki-sign nga contract against nga 5 years, kung computatuin lang ang basihan. but i'll be talking nganong 3 years ra iyang gusto, dili 5 yrs. Sa ako lang ni opinion, i think c lebron ganahan man sab ni mahimung free agent. gusto niya ma-feel what really the life of nba superstar as a free agent. i would say it would be an experience. at least ang cavs or any other teams ma-challenge sab og gukod ni lebron. pero if we say c lebron is happy ba sa cavs or dili, kana i don't know. kung free agent siya, we do not know whether he will play for cavs or go to other teams. tan-aw sab nako, ga-duhaduha man gani si lebron nga mo-extend siya sa or dili sa cavs.

LAKEWOOD - The Nuggets already plan to show Carmelo Anthony the money. He also wouldn't mind a little flexibility.

As his agent worked to finalize his "max" contract extension Monday, Anthony said he would prefer a five-year contract with the ability to opt out after the fourth, in 2011.

"Of course, I would want an option year. That's what we're negotiating right now," Anthony said during a break at his annual basketball camp.

Anthony and the Nuggets agreed to a five-year extension worth an estimated $80 million July 1 but nothing can be signed until Wednesday.

Anthony's contract negotiations have been relatively uneventful compared with those of Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James, who is widely expected to take a different route than 2003 draft classmates Anthony and Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade, who also reportedly agreed to a five-year extension.

James, a Nike heavyweight and the NBA's third-leading scorer last season, apparently plans to sign a three-year deal that would include an option for a fourth season.

Such a contract would allow James to become an unrestricted free agent if he does not pick up his option for 2010-11.

At that point, he would have seven years of experience, allowing him to sign a new contract with a starting salary of up to 30 percent of the salary cap.
