AWOL leaves a mark that will be hard to erase or even just forget...
I have an agent who did an AWOL b'coz of health reasons daw(stress sa night shift, kapoy sked,etc)...
    I mean, cme'on!!
naa ba'y work nga no pressure at all to perform?
hahaha...if naa, lemme know pra balhin ko...
pro it's becoming a very bad habit for these new hires to go AWOL as soon as they feel pressured in any way...
like they expect all jobs to be a walk in the park...

AWOL is like betraying the trust of a very good friend...
at least be professional enough to let your FLS know why ur resigning...
pro if mura lng ka bula, it sucks!

    ehehe...

i applied for a job at a call center for health reasons and i was accepted.. i specifically told them during the interview that my intentions are not staying with the company for long unless im happy with the job.. i was told the contract was for 6 months so i agreed.. my prev job was much more than easy than as an agent.. then after the contract ended, i extended for four more months and submitted my immediate resignation, my FLS said it was not granted and i have to complete the 30days.. bad thing was, one of my teammate was granted immediate resignation.. that was the recommendation for her for a third level offense instead of trying to defend herself.. so it seemed kind of unfair.. i mean i didnt do any offense and i cant be given an immediate resignation? so awol ang labas.. so i told my FLS that im sorry but i cant do anything about that anymore.. hehe.. a good friend and a teammate of mine processed all the necessary papers for me to recieve the last pay and compensation stuff.. and my FLS was kind enough to offer me a COE w/o the termination in it also.. he was a good supervisor also.. hehe..

i heard a lot of reasons ngano mag AWOL ang employee pero i don't get the sense ngano dli nalang mananghid ug tarong.. if you really plan to stop working, why not resign? what's the difference? you are entitled to terminate your own employment.. nobody can stop you if you really want to resign may it be immediate or after a given number of days..
