Yeah, again we share the same belief that we cant know what God really is in its entirety, we can only know (or speculate) what he is not. idea taken from here. CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: Nature and Attributes of God.
Anyway, when you say your God is not the God as describe in the Bible, we really don't have any real clash of idea actually because I don't read the Bible that much and I am not a Bible fundamentalist or a Bible alone fan.
So, all I can say is that the God that I believe in is "not the clock maker type" who is somewhere out there busy making other galaxies and never care to look back. The God that I believe in is "not also the old testament type" God. Yeah we share the same idea bro. The God that I believe in is not someone who tolerates injustices. Also, I recognize that I am weak, but not only that, I also recognize that I also need "help" (Not from ordinary financial or other earthly problems, I can very well take care of that, but from something beyond worldly).
