naa lang ko mga questions:
ngano wala may "desu" after sa umai?
unsa nang "ganbatte"?
by the way,im might be transferring to a Japanese company in a month or two..
..i'd really appreciate it if you could teach me some useful common phrases or words which could help me in my application..hala,kay ako raba jud gibutang sa ako resume nga kahibaw daw ko japanese..tudlo-i sad ko mga japanese kun ako ka-istorya dako ug position..
arigatou,everyone!
@abuot-san...sorry nalibog nuon ka...kana man gud umai usual words na sa guys...very familiar and casual...mao di bagay butangan ug desu...
learn a few phrases nga importante sa mga hapon....kabalo na man ka sa standard greetings diba?
ohayoo gozaimasu - good morning
ganbatte kudasai - please try your best ( common expression jud kaayo ni...mora ni ug by word nila especially sa work place...kon ingnon ka sa imo boss ani..ang imong answer would be "hai gambarimasu")
o shigoto wa isshoukenmei gambarimasu - i will do my very best with my job (shows enthusiasm to learn/do the job)
o tsukare sama deshita - literally means "it was good being tired with you" ...mao na ang formal way to say goodbye after working hours....
ang "aisatsu" (greeting) importante kaayo sa mga hapon...offer your business card with both hands...dawata sad ila business card with both hands and take time to look at it...dont put it in your pocket or write on it or fold it....put it in the table next to your paper/pen and carefully tuck it away after the meeting or conversation...treat it as if face sa imo ka istorya so ayaw isuksok sa back pocket and sit on it....
i hope this helps...kon naa pa ko manumduman will let you know....don't worry layo pa tong two months...maka practice pa ka![]()
let me know how else i can help...
watashino sukina kotoba wa dattebayo...hehehe

iie..mochiron, wakatteru yo. naruto ha ichiban suki na bangumi dakara..Originally Posted by nolex
(no..of course i know. because naruto is my favorite tv program.)
mochiron - of course
wakatteru - wakatte iru - i know/ i understand
ichiban - no. 1
suki - like
bangumi - program
kay usually ang umai ginagamit na cya when speaking with a friend or someone nga suod na nimo. dili ni cya ginagamit kung mga bossing nimo imong kaistorya..Originally Posted by abuot
ang ganbatte is te - form of the verb ganbarimasu which means to do one's best..
additional common aisatsu:
ohayou gozaimasu - good morning
konnichiwa - good afternoon/ good day
konbanwa - good evening
oyasuminasai/ oyasumi - goodnight
hajimimashite - please to meet you (literal. this is the first time (we met))
ojamashimasu - greeting when you enter someone else's house or when you butt in to someone else's conversation (literal. i will be a hindrance/ obstruction ..... jama - じゃま - 邪魔 - hindrance/ obstruction)
o saki ni shitsureishimasu - i will go ahead.. (usually said when going ahead of someone, usually in going home)
gochisousamadishita - after eating (specially if gi-bankahan ka)
o tanjyoubi omedetou gozaimasu - happy birthday (tanjyoubi - birthday)
