Affected man pud ang Bantayan and sa mga duol nga places didto far north, I think. Considering nga part of Cebu pa sila, pede pud nga tabangan nato sila before ta muextend sa atong help to other provinces. I saw some posts sa FB nga most of the roads sa Bantayan napuno na ug debris. Small help is still help and will definitely count.

Nag plano mi akong mga kaila nga mag garage sale sa among mga gamit nga wala na gyud na gamit and ang proceeds ihatag tanan sa affected areas. Funds converted to basic needs na. At least mahawan ang balay and makatbang. Not sure lang asa pede.

Bantayan Mayor Chris Escario managed to sneak in a call from the Sta. Fe wharf where there was signal on his cellphone. Bantayan looks like a war zone, he said. 90% of houses that are still standing have no more roof. About 7 are reported dead and they haven't surveyed the entire town plus the islets yet. They need water to drink and generator sets to get their pumps running. Please let us know if you know where we can borrow generators for Bantayan. Please."
