if you want it to hurry tell our congressmen and senator to change the modernization law that enables the DND to acquire directly WITHOUT BIDDING....

other country usually go directly without bidding... i dont like calling it kagang2x ko gi upgrade na siya... the model is old but not airframe and avionics....

actually not everything we got is donated only a small percent that is donated and the rest is we pay for it...everytime we got new one we always have it upgraded to singapore before arriving here....

notes: the US have the most modern armed forces and yet they never defeated the talibans and al qaeda....

if the scheduled is not change 2011 mag sugod ang acquisistion ug MRF/Interim... im betting on F16 if not upgrade the F5 we have...

btw both of this model is deployed ACTIVELY on IRAQ and AFGHANISTAN and JAPAN

mind you my friend the hueys in the US Armed Forces are operated in a limited squadron mostly in the US Marines regiment these choppers are slowly being phase-out probably by next two yrs. this hueys will be sell-out to countries like ours and that includes taiwan. As what i said mostly this hueys can be found in a US marine training ground..that's what your pix shows
