i would like to put on my 2 cents on this issue. first of, this is a money making scheme to whoever implemented this one. i bet the one who put this on to law got kickbacks. imagine, old helmets should be replaced by new ones coz either the brand does not have DTI certification or it too dilapidated to use. second, the helmets that are sold today on stores are either sub standard or made in china! and they have passed the ICC standards? hell no! try using those helmets and crash it, will see if it will save your head! LTO and DTI should be embarrased by their so called standards! worse, we motorcycle or scooter drivers are always being singled out especially on malls! they are making our lives complicated. we cannot deposit our helmets because of so on and so forth. Lemme remind you! you think people who drive cars got money? and we dont? FOOLs! now next election, pls dont vote on those persons who made this law into fruition!

even the some of the top brands in the helmet industry is Made in China... :d

gamita nalang ninyo icc sticker kana sa electrical tape. pareha ra sila ug itsura sa icc sticker sa index/honda/ben2 helmets na 2011. 5 mi kabuok namalit ug index helmet na half face for 400 petot (400 kay walay icc somewhere sa opon secret nlng ang store hehehe) then namalit mi ug electrical tape 3m/armak 15-20 petot. 2 methods ra pwede amo nahibawan saon pag tang tang sa sticker either sa steam or cut the plastic. after napapilit na sa helmet nag ride mi looking for checkpoints. so far 3 na ka checkpoints amo naagian with no problem. kato sa mga na problema sa sticker nara nana ninyo kung mo sugal ba mo or dili hehehehe. total sa tinuoray lng ari naman jud na daugon sa diskarte kung ma question na

Let me rephrase that, not all people who drive cars have money and riders who are careless, arrogant and ignorant are those that dont have money.
