Nets and Raptors will be playing in O2 Arena London this Saturday. A weekend to remember as this would be the first NBA regular season game staged in Europe.
Nice Job Stern for orchestrating another milestone in the NBA's expansion plans ! !

indeed..
coz the NBA has held regular season games outside of the United States and Canada before, but never in Europe and only once in the middle of the season (a December 1997 Rockets-Mavericks game in Mexico City).
The NBA has held season-opening games in Japan several times since 1990 as well.. how about in the Philippines Dear Stern? .. hahaha!
i wish!
is it confirmed that each of the Nets and Raptors will have a "home" game in London?
^^ Both games will be played in the same arena (O2), based sa NBA schedule home games man dapat sa Nets. .

soon we will see a european team in the NBA.... the more the merrier...
how about an asian team in the NBA as well.. it'll be the merriest then..
hahaha!
The Olympics is sa London next year so a good way to promote basketball is to play there. But I doubt sa near future mag add ng European teams, there are still few arenas that meet the NBA standard, also there are many issues ang NBA ron sa States, ang pinaka dako and CBA next season.
Well, playing a regular season abroad is nothing new naman, NFL and NHL all have regular games abroad, what more ang NBA na mas international. Even EPL is considering playing some games abroad.
Nets pa jud and Toronto ang gipadala... Goodluck sa ila..
Adding an NBA team in Europe or somewhere in SE Asia would be so inane . Imagine players playing for those teams -unless those teams will spend mostly on road trips (in North America) otherwise they would be tired from jet lag going back and forth over the Atlantic .
IMO , European expansion only works for NFL since they only play once a week .
I'm very sure mo protest si Coach Jackson ana, I think dili siya ganahan mag biyahe-biyahe like mag dula sa Europe.
Agree with you FAQ. it's unimaginable with the games their playing and all the those back to back games they have.
I think there was an NFL Europe something like that, but it wasn't successful. After all the Europeans already got their "football" and NFL is so similar with Rugby which is popular in many countries in Europe. Competetion pa jud..
