The price range of the gi can be anywhere between 1400 pesos to .... LOL naa jud mahal kaau na gi. It just depends kung what kind of an investment you want to put in for the gear you're using.
Regarding promotions, I understand that everyone wants progress and a sense of accomplishment. But you will realize that BJJ is about more than just stripes and belts. We don't charge for your promotions, simply cause we believe that when you deserve it. You should get it. Besides in our team, we consider it appropriate to be promoted to a different belt after two years more or less. Dugay2 sya, so don't worry about the promotions.
BJJ is great for weight loss. You will meet some people in the gym who can probably be cast members sa biggest loser
Yes! I'm norman!
Let me just clarify, a lot of people seem to get the misconception that our team is just for competitors. The age range for our team members are 13-66(no joke!) and there are both girls and guys. If we made the 66 year old compete, then we can safely call ourselves miracle workers, but he trains cause of the love of the art, not to compete and we are fine with that. We have new guys coming in all the time and that makes it for a fun environment cause even guys who have been rolling for years can learn from guys who've been training weeks.
A lot of people would not want to train because the team is full of experienced guys, truth is, experience is the key to growth. The guys who train want nothing more than to pass on the knowledge.
In our team, we'd like to think that training is meant to be both fun and rewarding but a balance must be struck and that when we step into the mats focus should be placed on learning the art. Off the mats, we're all good friends; on it, we'd like to make each other better and so we encourage each other and push each other. Doesn't matter how new or how different your goals are, we try to make you be the best of what you are or what you want to be. We are after all a results-oriented team.
So, treat this as an open invitation to everyone, come try out the 3 free trial sessions and see what Brazilian Jiujitsu has to offer. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.
I'll start this monday i hope na a pud lain newbie makadungan hehe
