The past week had been a difficult time for Manny Pacquiao. Hindi pa nakuntento ang kanyang abogado, si Atty. Franklin Gacal, with his client’s change of heart (literally, ang pagbabalik-Kapuso) over the weekend ay nagpatawag pa ito ng presscon nitong Biyernes.
Limang isyu ang tinalakay ni Gacal during the last presscon, but none of which was a new twist to a supposedly closed topic. Overkill nang matatawag ang kampo ni Manny in his attempt to play Mr. Clean in this dirty circus, which is sadly turning out to be slapstick comedy.
Ano pa ba naman ang kailangan pang igiit ng kampo ni Pacman? Naresolba na ang isyu, sa GMA 7 na ipinagkakaloob uli ang broadcast rights ng kanyang May 2 fight against Ricky Hatton.

Biases set aside, saludo ako sa posture ng ABS-CBN as it has repeatedly expressed its support sa laban na ‘yon. The station has come out of it with magnimity in defeat.

Aminado ang isang supporting cast member ng isang teleserye na disappointed sila sa ratings, considering na malakas ang mga “poste” nito based on their previous projects together.
Of the TV series na pinagsamahan ng mga bida roon, ang pilot episode nito registered the lowest. Nagkataon pang malakas ang katapat nito, kung kaya’t alikabok ang ipinakakain dito. No wonder, lumihis na raw sa criminal na daloy ng kuwento ang plot kung saan bait-baitan na ang bidang babae.
Well, network knows best. Hindi naman kasi itinanggi ng kanilang mother station that the current series would be the two bidas’ last project together. And given its dismal ratings, mukha ngang bibigyan na lang siya ng kanya-kanyang proyekto.
Meanwhile, isa pa ring programa within the same primetime block ng istasyong ‘yun ay mukhang nanganganib nang matsugie sooner than later. Bagama’t maayos naman daw ang kuwento, hindi raw nito tinutumbok ang young adult market o mga bata which make up a greater slice of the audience pie.
Wala ba kayong napapansin sa mga title ng dalawang programang ito? They’re Bible-related.

EXCITED na umalis si Angel Locsin patungong Korea last Friday night para mag-taping ng Only You. Sayang nga at hindi siya naihatid sa airport ng boyfriend na si Luis Manzano dahil masama ang pakiramdam nito. But from time to time ay panay ang tawag ng young actor sa girlfriend.

Kasama ni Angel sa taping ang dalawang leading men na sina Sam Milby at Diether Ocampo and of course, ang direktor nilang si Rory Quintos.

Kahapon ang scheduled first taping day nila at sa Holy Week naman ang balik nila sa ’Pinas.

Mas masaya siguro kung mami-meet ng grupo ang original cast ng Only You sa Korea tutal naman ay nandoon na rin lang sila.

Anyway, heard na tuloy na ang movie ni Angel with Aga Muhlach at excited na rin ang young actress about it since first time niyang makakatambal ang guwapo at magaling na aktor.

Hopefully, maumpisahan ang movie this year dahil pagkatapos ng Only You, ang alam namin ay may gagawin pang isang malaking serye si Angel this year.
