Two to three months then? That's pretty tough considering the situation. There are lots of factors that could affect your download speed but I'm not sire if it's normal for the download to be almost the same as the upload speed. What I know for residential DSL is that download is always faster than upload. As i was reading your thread, I would agree that your router might be the issue. Is it password protected? That could be one reason why the download is slower. With PLDT, I keep calling everyday when I have a problem if they are slow to act. Time consuming, yes, but it seems to work for me.

yes password protected siya and ma busy lang ni ang net if gabii na mogamit na ako bro and sis so makasabot rajud ko hinay ang speed or mo lag ko if mag online games pero even if wala jud nag gamit ako ra isa sa balay usually mao rajud ni pinakataas na speed. last week nalipay ko kay naabot ug 1mbps ang speed w/c is stable jud siya for 2 days rajud intawn after a2 nalikoy napud kalit. unfair kaau gud kay amo neighbor nga nag negosyo ug piso2 3 pa ka pc unit nag share sa internet inig speedtest naku kay 40+ rajud ang ping then maabot pa ug 1.6mbps and download speed nya same rami gbayran pero d mi same ug nakuha nga service
and about sa upload speed ug download speed ang ila tech support mismo ni ingon nga dli daw ni normal pero bisan gi ari na sa taga pldt kay mao rajud ghapon kapila na ga balik2 nag tinarong ba sad kaha to ang mga technician nga ni ari kay nag ayo rapud baya ni ilang storya hehe

d jud ko sweto ani pero when i ask sa ilang tech support nga natural raba ni in.ana kadak.a and MS if mag ping ko kay dli daw, if ang ila pud technician pangutan.on kay d daw na mo matter as long as kusog lang ang speed sa speedtest, puro na request timed out ang mga blank spaces

Haha, wala man jud nay mo tubag sa 172, I've tried calling that number and waited for 2hrs ( speaker phone ) wala jud nay mo tubag dira 171 man gud ang actual number.. ambot morag dummy mana ang 172 or theres like only a handful of people working on that number.
Ni hinay sad maayo akong speed, 60kb/s nalang.. the guys at pldt said "Mao man gyud ni ang speed sa akong lugar" haha wa nakoy ma hems..
