Security is not always the case why people chose to live in a certain city, my friend. Because if your assumption is correct, Cebuanos and tagalogs would have gone to Davao long time ago. People in New York or LA would have gone to Montana but that's not the case in a real world, is it? Ang mga tawo gnahan jud na mupuyo kung asa to mas nindot og economiya kai adto man sila mabuhi... Ang2x man sad og manrabaho sila og CEbu or Manila nya magpuyo sila sa Davao. When I hear the name Mindanao, Davao and CDO always pop out of my mind. Because I know these 2 are the biggest City and each has a lot to offer. Ganahan ko mo bakasyon anang mga lugara but still want to live in Cebu

Cebu is a combination of Manila and Davao. Populated, crime infested(kunuhay) yet laid back. Wala sad tawn mi kidnapping diri and bombing. Manila, uso kidnapping og bomb scare. Snatchers nuon og mangingilad daghan. Bsag sa Manila ang mga mangingilad taga Cebu.
Say whatever you want to say about Cebu. I'd still want to live here more than anywhere else, so do these 3,500,000 people nga gahuot sa gamay nga Isla sa Cebu.
paminaw ragud anang mga tao sa downtown area sa davao dba mostly naga tagalog..... pero nganung mas daghay nagatagalog dinhi sa davao compare sa cebu?

The Philippines’ most livable, highly urbanized cities by Harold Geronimo
Quality of living is a major criteria in coming up with this latest list of the most livable highly urbanized cities in the Philippines. Those who either lived or stayed in these cities can best describe how comfortable, worry-free and convenient to be residents. From security, peace and order, booming business activities to adequate healthcare and educational centers – all these are essential components to make a city a great place to live in.
    1. Davao City
Who would ever want to live in a city where the monthly crime rate falls below one percent? Without batting an eyelash, Davao City deserves to be on top of this list. This most progressive city in Southern Philippines has been awarded the “Most Peaceful City in East and Southeast Asia for seven years and is home to the “Best Police Office in the Country” for six consecutive years. Going around Davao City even at night is very safe and I’ve personally experienced it. The city is also known to be typhoon-free all throughout the year and has an admirable city health office that offers free clinical and medical services to its less fortunate urban and rural residents. In terms of business, there is no doubt that Davao City is continuously booming. It is home to Mindanao’s largest SM Mall and will soon open Ayala Center’s first lifestyle mall in Mindanao. For four consecutive years, Davao City has also been recognized by Asiaweek as one of the 20 Best Cities in Asia.

Manila Standard Today -- The Philippines’ most livable, highly urbanized cities -- 2010/august/24

Davao City RP’s most livable city

DAVAO CITY — Asiaweek magazine has named Davao City the country’s most livable city and the 17th among Asia’s top 40 cities.

Davao City’s ranking in the newly published survey of Asiaweek was a notch higher than its 18th place in last year’s survey.

Cebu City and Metro Manila also made it to this year’s list, ranking 22nd and 25th, respectively.

The survey, based on 27 indicators, also adjudged Davao City, which has a population of over 1.2 million, as the most peaceful city in Southeast Asia.

The Asiaweek citation is the latest bestowed on this leading growth center in the South. It was recently cited for its cleanliness and greening efforts, peace and order and child-friendly programs. — Edith

You don't get it, do you?
The most important reason why people relocate to another place kai economy, para maka kita og nindot nga trabaho. Just so you'd know, pariha ra or mas mahal ang real state diri Cebu compared sa Manila, yet gahuot ang mga tawo diri kai ganahan anhi mamuyo. Why not Davao? dagako pa sa inyong lugar.

Kung daghan mag tagalog sa inyo diri wala kaau, kai diman namo tubagon og tinagalog. Gamay ra Cebuano kibaw mag tinagalog og tarong

Bitaw bai, nindot man sad ang Davao, I'm sure. Daghan kasuruyan and all but unsaon mana nimo cege lang kag suroy imong sweldo perting gamaya... Maytag pariha nimo nga ambungan og dato
