"We can pull out all our traffic enforcers in their schools. Why will we pay for that when they are not paying taxes? We’ll just let them work out their own traffic
management. We won’t assign policemen there, and no fire service, we’ll just tell them do it yourself... We have to apply pressure this time,” Osmeña continued."

"But Cebu Doctors’ University (CDU), Cebu Institute of Technology (CIT), Southwestern University (SWU), Sacred Heart Hospital, Cebu Doctors’ Hospital (CDH), Cebu North General Hospital and Velez General Hospital filed a civil case in June 2007, asking the court to declare the City’s amended tax ordinance null and void."
Any Comment?

hello! I have lots of questions. I hope you answer, confused kaayo ko.
I'm graduating this year, im 17 - im planning to go to CDU to take up nursing (typical, I know, but I love it. I'd even aspire for medicine but I wouldn't dare study 8 years, id end up failing). The thing is though, school in america ends in June - June 5ish for me. Fil-Am ko, but I know how to speak tagalog and bisaya because I lived in Cebu for 3 years man sad, unya naa man sad mi ug TFC
My question is, though, would it be hard for me to get in CDU? Are there waiting lists? I know that there are entrance exams.. are they hard? and when does a new school year start for you, isnt it June also (right on time)? I've looked at the website for requirements for foreign students, but its all jumbled together. I also have a friend in CDU.. I think she's in her third year. We're 2nd cousins and we've been friends since we were born, so I'm not that worried (I guess) and im a generally friendly person, lol.
And also - the age factor. People tell me that its apparently a hard thing to get by there. Are there many people in my situation? Including the fact that I'll be starting the year about 2 years older than the norm? And how is student life in there? Oh and the dorms! How are they?
opinions and advice would be greatly appreciated, and advanced thank you !
