I took a weekend backpacking from Cebu to San Carlos to Guihulngan to Bais to Dumaguete then, back to Cebu. It was a wonderful experience. No TV there.
In my humble opinion, this don't exist at all.

When i was new to Cebu, wala akong TV sa room ko. And now that i spent 7 months na sa Cebu, meron na ako TV. those days na wala, i can manage naman. TV isnt the only portal for amusing me.
[QUOTE=catch;2224281] if you look at it closely, we spent a number of hours just by watching televisions and not realizing that there are "things" that needs more attention which is very close to us, say, our family. /QUOTE]
tinuod gyud ni! ang mga bata d na magtuon sa gabii, maglantaw man ug teleserye together with the older ones. imbes itutor unta ang bata sa parent. and sa typical pinoy home, one cause of the spouses' quarrel - abot ang bana gkan work, nya ang asawa naglingkod ra sa sala, tan-aw tv, instead of attending unta to the family's needs. taod taod, flying saucers, plates, and kaldero..hahaha

waaa! extremely conservative ang thread starter... no TV day is like no eating day...
we don't watch TV...na anad na lang mi na d nami mu watch...kay everybody in our house are very busy..my mom is a teacher and she doesn't have much time to watch..my sister is always studying every time the tV is turned On she would ask the person to put it off because no one is watching...my lil bro is not allowed to watch tV because he won't concentrate in his assignments,in his food, won't even listen to his yaya if the Tv is turned on...my dad...he loves to play computer games when he wants to relax...and me? i think it is a waste of time...our tv is just a decoration in our house...
agree on that... @jiro81
