NEXT LA LIGA GAME WILL BE AT HOME AGAINST IN FORM VALENCIA..........THOUGH THEY WILL HOST DYNAMO KIEV AT MIDWEEK.......
ahay, 9 points behind barcelon.....they can still win it..............
the season is far from over......anything can happen........and hopefully the football Gods will smile upon our beloved REAL MADRID>>>
1-0 win over dynamo.....................yes.
finally Owen open his account for Real Madrid.........sadly Raul missed his chances.,but anyway a win is a win.........hopefully this will inspire them to perform better on in their LaLiga fixtures.......
...................i am very happy watching Raul play, he is in top form, he is back with the Raul of yesteryears.......but still their defense is very fragile......
.........Ronaldo got hit in his dick twice, haha.
...........come in valencia, i don't know what will happen...........
Michael Owen emphatically confirmed that his barren spell in the Spanish capital is over with his first league goal for Real Madrid in their 1-0 win over Valencia.
It took the England striker, and occasional captain, just seven minutes to find the net at the Santiago Bernabeu, making no mistake with a right foot lob after being put through by Raul Gonzalez.
Owen's goal followed hard on the heels of his winner in Real's 1-0 over Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League on Tuesday, his first goal for Madrid since his summer signing from Liverpool.
The game was an entertaining affair despite the lack of further goals but Real, bouyed by the success on the European stage, got their first league win in four games.
Real coach Mariano Garcia Remon, deciding to keep faith with the attacking lineup that helped beated Kiev in midweek, played Owen up front alongside Ronaldo while Raul dropped back on to the left side of midfield.
His gamble took just seven minutes to pay off when Owen put his side ahead with a coolly-taken strike after some excellent work by Zinedine Zidane and Raul.
The former Liverpool player fired the ball over advancing goalkeeper Santiago Canizares with the outside of his right foot after racing on to Raul's perfectly weighted through pass.
Strike partner Ronaldo went close to extending Real's lead 20 minutes later after another excellent pass from Raul but the Brazilian's right-foot shot swerved wide of the far post.
Barcelona won again.,.,but the good news is, Madrid's a point of second place @ 13pts.....next up is newly promoted Getafe @ home.....
With all the biggest names in their line-up, I wonder why Real Madrid is not on top of the Spanish League. There might be some coaching problems!
I consider myself a fan of Chelsea's Boss, Jose Mourinho!
As to the Champions League, I wish Real Madrid all the best! They should stump their class! I was once a Ronaldo, Zidane, Figo fan.
I don't think the addition of Beckham did help their level of play. Must have been a marketing ploy but not necessarily tactical. Owen is a great player.
My favorites for the Champions league:
1. Chelsea (Mourinho, Drogba, Czech)
2. Real Madrid (Ronaldo, Figo, Zidane, Owen)
3. Arsenal (Wenger, Henry)
4. Manchester United (Ronaldo, Rooney, Nilsteroy, Ferguson)
It could have been Porto if not for the departure of Mourinho and some key players.
