Okay let's up the ante and make this more challenging… this thread is “photoshop challenge,â€� right?Â* There will be a bi-monthly challenge where everyone is welcome to come up with any digital work of art based on the current topic.Â* Rules are the art work has to be created during the 2 week period and you can only post works made by you.Â* You must give a title, brief description of the art work, and brief summery of how you made it.Â* There is no limit on how many art works you can post for each topic as long as it is within the current topic’s time period.

And, yes, you may post an artwork unrelated to the current topic for crtique.

The critique system will be similar to that of artsig.com...

To critique you must first give your rants, raves, and other comments that includes a detailed reason on why you gave a work of art a certain rating.Â* The rating system is as follows:

:mrgreen: :mrgreen: - High-quality work yet could be better
:mrgreen: - Overall good effort but in need of improvement
- Uninspired and uninteresting
- Seriously and irredeemably flawed
- Offensive or repugnant

Guidelines
Please review these guidelines before you post your critique:

• If you're giving someone aÂ* critique because that person gave you one, then erase your critique and cool off for a bit.
• A critique is not a judgment. Make your critiques helpful by suggesting ways in which the artist can improve his or her work. Don't simply state whether you like the work or dislike it.
• An unflattering critique can be very constructive, but you must take care to be as polite and respectful as possible. Ask yourself how you would feel if someone made the same comment about one of your own works.
• Critique the work, not the artist or the other critics.
• If this work already has a lot of critiques, then think about whether you have anything new to add. Instead of writing a "me too" critique, why not critique something else?
• The three rating should be reserved for works that are clearly offensive or repugnant, not those that are merely bad. You may be asked to justify a three rating.
