By the present looks of the development. I think Trillanes might indeed have a possible point:

1. New scandals specially the ZTE and lawmakers bribery have been lurking around PGMA. Groups including religious sectors are again calling her resignation.
2. Blast happened in Glorietta amidst the scandal.
3. Traces of chemicals as part of C4 have been found.
4. An alleged RSM claimed responsibility.
5. Another RSM member claimed its not their RSM leader.
6. Story is getting to be a big joke.
7. New theory of underground gas leak has been introduced.

The turn of event is almost like a joke. But the PGMA issue has been left out. That's what the spooks call as Spin. Events to take place to bury the first event.

Remember Marcos ordered the bombing of Plaza Miranda? It was an act of the government to issue Martial Law.
They call the dead as collateral damage.

Now at first, I would not believe the statement of Trillanes but the spin is too obvious i couldnt help but think otherwise.

I wouldn't be surprised if a blast would occur in Cebu or an event with almost the same strength to turn your head.

There are many speculations. Some says it's a plot to divert the attention of the public on present controversies, some says it's a plot to destabilize the government, some says it's a business strategy since the target are Ayala malls and businesses, while others are saying it's really an accident.

Whatever it is, we should always be prepared. We don't really know where we are safe. Sometimes, we are all victims of these accidents.

at first i would also say it's very hard to believe but as the developments progresses, i'm not suspecting that someone is playing some game. A different kind of terrorist.

IMHO, I definitely dismiss the idea that it was indeed a planned activity by the government. I'm even more inclined to believe that it was an accidental explosion. It's one of the possibilities anyway.

Trillanes is not reliable and will never be reliable since he was not able to see for himself that there were C4 elements in the explosion site. If it were a terrorist attack, we would know in the coming days. But I will never entertain the idea that the government deliberately caused the explosion. The President is working for peace and not destabilization.

here are some of my conspiracy theories on why there was the glorietta bombing:

1.) a diversionary tactic from gov't to eclipse the current scandals on the ZTE contract, alleged money bribes to officials, etc..
2.) a covert operation from opposition to make it look like a diversionary tactic from malacanang and use it for their advantage.(maybe even the money bribes were their doing also)
3.) a retaliation from ASG or NPA for the all-out war on terrorism but the truth is kept hidden from public to avoid paranoia and panic.
4.) a personal matter, maybe business rivalry or jealousy.(hey, Jaime Zobel is now the richest man in the Phils. accdg to Forbes magazine!)
5.) a 3rd party activity w/ foreign involvement who wants to bring down our economy. the phil economy is now doing good at P43-44 forex to the dollar (highest in a decade) w/ an improved budget deficit & GDP growth. and going stronger!

these are just products of my imagination & opinion. sorry nalang kung naay nasakitan.
