My opinion lang ni ha...
1. The vintage DX Voltes V right now is quite expensive. Around P70,000 to P100,000, dli pa gyud nah mint ang robot.
2. Voltes V was very famous here in the Philippines since the 80's, since it was one of the first super robots that graced our homeland. If you were in Japan though, it would have been another story, Mazinger Z was the well known one. Voltes is not even close... Anyways, considering that it came out in the 80s, the buyers right now should be in their mid 20s or early 30s, thus having the funds to buy 1. And I guess, it reminds them of their childhood.
3. Also the new Voltes is more anime accurate with more weapons than the vintage one. It has a sleeker look too. Plus, you have the mechanical eagle too.
Price supposedly is Y16,590, around P7,000 to P8,000.

Also, ever since Soul of Chogokin came out, people were hoping for a Voltes V. After 30 robots (with doubles, triples and quadruple variants), it finally came out!
