    Default Engineered Food

The Hidden Time Bomb in Genetically Engineered Foods

Genetically Engineered Foods - Being an engineer this sounds exciting, however not when we begin to challenge the wisdom of God's creativity. The pattern has shown that any thing we do with nature has it's repercussion. Everytime we try to create something out of what has been created especially in the field of agriculture has always impacted us. Perhaps when God said that we rule the earth does not include manipulating HIS "life giving" process. Life can only come from life itself, God is the giver and the taker..

Default There is no need for greed, hunger or violence.

Trade Department Boosts Cream Dory Industry

“The Philippines currently imports approximately 600 metric tons of fillets per month. If we could substitute this importation by producing our own via the Pangasius, P650 million worth of investments and P945 million in sales will be generated and 2,700 jobs will be created come 2016,” said DTI Central Luzon Regional Pangasius industry manager Zorina Aldana.*

There is no need for greed, hunger or violence, there is so much demand for fish - let us start learning and producing our very own fish...it is no rocket science. OFW's friendds and relatives please, please take note.

    Default seaweed aquaponics

    http://www.thebioenergysite.com/articles/1197/bioengineered-microbes-turn-seaweed-into-biofuels
A very unique advantage of the Philippines is the length of the coast line (as we are composed of islands), that means, tapping the resources of the sea and bringing them to the shore or even inland. ( Sort of create an IrrigationCanal from the sea inward) Seaweed Aquaponics should be explored by our Government and exploit our advantage without the disadvantage of the traditional seaweed farming that is off-shore, susceptible to storms. Hence, instead of producing vegetables/herbs we produce seaweeds and salt water fish.

    Default Towards sustainability and renewability

Researching on the use of soil-microbe to superefficient biofuel-factory is the research topic below. That is the objective/wish of the US scientists.

My wish is for us(Filipinos – Philippine Aquaponics) to be able to find a bacteria that will turn our bio-filters into a superefficient nutrient-factory that will supply nutrients to our plants-vegetables-herbs and hasten growth and food production.

I believe this way we do not tamper with the “genetics” but we just worked and assisted/facilitated nature to help us be more efficient in producing food.

    Default "Natural" abused and misused

“Natural” misused and abused, if the laboratory can identify what is GMO from non-GMO, can we also make our body believe that what is “unnatural” can be absorbed as well and function as a real-substitute. Real “Natural” processes born or manufactured by nature that was engineered by nature thousands of years is something we cannot just “copy-paste-edit” to make it look like the natural way. After editing, GMO experts start paste-replicating what has been copied. Noble ideas indeed, we have to find ways to feed the many-growing population, but not when the pattern shows destruction and potential collapse of the human race. Life can only come from life itself, if we tamper with life giving food, we tamper with ourselves, our future and those beyond us. Man posing the greatest threat against humanity.

    Vietnam's Aquaculture Success Boosts Economy

Can we also succeed in this “fishing expedition” ?? Does it need to have a PhD degree for the poor Filipino fisherman to be able to produce fishes like they do in Vietnam?? And sell USD billions to Europe and US ??

Opportunites missed and lost, opportunities passing us by, because opportunity comes only to those who are prepared..

Aquaponics – self-reliance(empowerment) creating a win-win-win for all. Environment (sea)-Labor(poverty)-doing something to help our government. Above all we produce healthy food, producing healthy people, healthy environment while giving a chance for our sea and forest to rebuild. We have opened a Philippine Aquaponics Foundation for those who wish to support and assist in furthering our mission-vision statement – Food for All.

Please check above link. Vietnam targeting billions of USD while we are sleeping, dreaming; while Vietnam is acting on their dreams-vision. I hope that we can someday unite and work together to challenge this export market that Vietnam is enjoying or at least share with them some part of it.

Perspiring is one way our body “detoxifies” itself-apart from cooling function. If we suppress this area of the body by “plugging” them with “deodorants” then we are indeed looking for problems with dire consequences.

The article below on “deodorants” and the chemicals used are being questioned. More seriously, if outside “chemicals” to suppress perspiration can get inside through the skin and have an effect, how much more dangerous is what we feed(our food quality) and goes inside(processed) our body. Then we need to DETOXIFY later when CANCER is forthcoming. Health and food quality is what we wish to promote at Philippine Aquaponics.

Parabens in Antiperspirants May Cause Breast Cancer

The use of deodorants is like treating the symptoms instead of treating the root cause of the problem. Smell and perspiration is a function of what you eat or what you do not eat.

GM Foods: The Shocking Cause of Birth Defects

Food for today, hunger and cancer for tomorrow. Reinventing the “wheel”?? We need to take hold of our future and understand what is good for us by understanding nature and how it works – the cycle of life. I believe we do not need to re-invent “God’s Wheel”, it is already perfect by itself, we just need to know how to use (apply) it wisely. God wants us to be happy and not dependent on others for our food and survival and enjoy what He made for us. If we just take good care of what He “designed” for us there is more than enough for everyone.
