It is not fair to always drag TGP with AKRho as if these fraternities are married to each other. Mind you that both groups did their best efforts to stop the fraternity war in Cebu. The so called frat war that surpassed all the casualties of all frat violence from different fraternities in the country in history, 3 times over.

In the first place nganu man pud ga gubut ning duha ka frat namely TAU GAMMA PHI and AKRHO sauna? this just shows the immaturity of these fraternities. Ug tarong ka nga tawo mangita ba kaha ka ug gubot? I have personally observed that members of these frats are nothing more than shabu snifting, marijuana smoking addicts disguising themselves as respectable people. All I said was all fraternities should change their recruitment style, instead of recruiting a bunch of OSYs and high-school kids, why not recruit college grads and/or to people taking any GRADUATE PROGRAMS?? In the last 10 years I believe, fraternities (especially AKRHO and TAU) are notoriously known for performing a lame CIVIL WAR-esque in Cebu. Don't tell me this is not true?? Hmmm ... I don't know who the hell is JOJO DEL ROSARIO personally, but according to news reports that he's a ground council president of AKRHO. I can't stop laughing when he said, "hindi na sana siya makakapiglas kung nahawakan ko siya eh." As if, he's really that tough. I know he's only tough when his sidekicks are around to back him up. Sooo obvious!!!

This tragic event should be a reflection that it's not good to join a fraternity until they consider reformation. Parents should keep their kids away from people who are members of any notorious fraternity. The government should arrest fratmen who has serious police records in a Nazi way on handling Jews during the holocaust (ie., put them in concentration camps). That would make them hide in the attic for a while and make the streets a little bit safer.

I thought fraternities are ONLY for college students?!?! What's the point of BROTHERHOOD for these OSYs and high-schoolers?? Don't they have peers, childhood friends, family, relatives, or classmates?? Is it really necessary for them to join the tribal honking clan?? Do all OSYs can find a full-time job or perhaps a "brother" will sponsor them to go back to school and hopefully advocate your frat's philosophy if they join?? Do all high-schoolers will be exempted on entrance exams for college and be on priority list when they apply to any college they wish to attend if only they join the frat?? Can they get any discounts from tuition fees, textbooks, school supplies, uniforms, and groceries?? Do they get a LIFE INSURANCE for god's sake if they join?? Hmmm ...

For the record , are JOBS only limited to COLLEGE GRADS ? Is BROTHERHOOD only limited to COLLEGE STUDENTS ?

Did you even bother to read the news ? I would ship 100 AKRHO members to BASILAN to be hunt downed by ASG if you can send , maski only 1 AKRHO member to BASILAN . Hows that ?

What should be the purpose of fraternities, I think it's not about waging war and creating chaos against each other.
I guess one of the purpose is to create an organization that would promote a more in depth form of brotherhood and sisterhood, I already found some steps before with some known fraternity organization extending such a meritful brethen sense with fellow fraternities. I think there is already some alternatives made to emphasize the importance of existing together in harmony sort of thing.

But sad to say, personal repercussions of members are also there, like indifferences with another person who is also a member of another fraternity, then partisanship, affinity towards the organization is challenged to side for each others personal cause, and that is when conflict occur and if not properly abated could escalate into animosity and greater confrontation.

One of the creed of fraternities of course the more sane one, not with gangsters is not really to be dominant within the organization field, but protection of it's members also. These are sometimes respected but most of the time overshadowed by human pride.

I think what's lacking is just communication among fraternities to better understand each other's organizational cause.
