All old families came from Spain, of course. Isn't it why their forefathers came here because of GREED and GOLD? Gold gives them wealth and wealth ensures their positions in society to the chagrin of the natives. I am also of Basque origin yet I squirm at the tinge of European blood running inside my veins even though the Basques are an oppressed people themselves.

Former Governor Pablo Garcia (and his brothers) mestizo features are largely due to their PARAS heritage, such PARAS also are from the Basque region of Spain.
