So sad the PRC Rule now has been changed. They would only consider a school/university to be top performing if the examinees registered exceeds 30. Luoy kaayo nang uban kurso sa school nga gamay ra enrollees bisag 100% passing sila kay they won't be recognized anymore....

... Just lamenting on the sad fact that USC Chemistry is not the top 1 performing school sa PRC last year. Tanawa ang ila top 1, di gani 100%. huhuhuhu!

Much ado about the list?

Don't worry guys if your school is at the bottom of the list. Or don't be too elated if your school tops the list either. Either cases, u don't need to get affected by this.

The list is just to arouse curiosity among web denizens to get some good hits to the blog. U can't measure the school's education quality thru online survey especially from a website which isn't even authorized and officially acknowledged by a non-profit, non-government organization to conduct such survey.

But pls go easy with the list. Beware of school-bashing. U might offend graduates from those schools who are really more intelligent than u r..

If u look at the list of the TOP 10 LIST...., the no. 2 on the list is University of the Philippines System, which is not one unit but a system of 8 autonomous units, thus, independent from one another. So, the ranking has a flaw already. And that only means one thing...UNRELIABLE to say the least.

Another flaw is the inclusion of Asian Institute of Management. AIM is technically a graduate school and u can't compare it with the likes of UP, La Salle unless the list is specific on its ranking, e.g. Best MBA schools or Top 10 business schools.

U wonder why on earth the University of the Philippines Cebu (which is a separate unit from UPV), didn't rank in Cebu's top 10.

Don't be concerned about this ranking. But if you like, why don't u assemble urself guys (those who are reacting this thread so badly) to find out who really got the BRAIN. There shud be moderators (at least 3 of u). Take an IQ exam together plus write an extemporaneous essay (decided later together). U can find lots of IQ exam online and print the results and compare ur scores. U can request an English professor from UP to check ur essay for content and grammar (not so much about the subject).

So within the UP system, they do not have the same standard? My diploma does not say UP cebu. It just says University of the Philippines. The 1s I got in UP cebu was counted as 1s when i transferred to Diliman.

There were only 21 of us in our UP electrical engineering batch. 100% passed. 3 in the top 10. So we are not top performing.
