No Care Racing only cares about winning Autocross

NEOPHYTE team No Care Racing (NCR) promised to give the others a run for their money when they plunge into action in the Kartzone Autocross Leg 2 and Kartingcross Exhibition Race dubbed as the 1st SM City Cebu Motosports Weekend at the SM City-Cebu Annex Bldg. parking lot this Friday and Saturday.
Team NCR formally presented itself to the media yesterday and said all it cares about is winning.
The team will banner a QQ car of Chery Philippines.
“The QQ is very agile and even if it is just an 1100 double Cam engine, we believe that it has an advantage because of its weight and agility. This car can outperform bigger- engined cars and come competition time, you will be surprised with what it can offer,” said NCR ace driver Jong King.
Fastest
King came out the fastest driver at the 2009 Philippine Autocross Championship Series 2nd Leg at the back of the Cebu International Convention Center last April 4 and 5, to surprise a very tough field that included David G. Lim, Randy Paray and Mato Tan and is hoping to continue his winning ways this weekend.
Team
King, with Chery Motors-Cebu managing director Raymund Basubas, was joined by Team NCR members Allan Choachuy, Philip Lim, Robert Pangilinan, Eric and Anthony Khe, Norris See, Eric Canama, Dennis Coro and Jhonel JT Wheels during the presentation.
They will race against the big names in the sports that include David G. Lim of Team DGL, Randy Paray of Team ACR, Justin Neri and Jess Garcia of Team Kartzone and last leg top driver Peterson Lim of Team Hilton-K1 Motorsports.
Also joining the competition are H3 Team and teams from neighboring Visayan cities Bacolod and Iloilo.
On Friday, the race will be for stock cars—the Street and Superstreet competitions where NCR drivers are expected to take the Cherry QQ car into action.
On Saturday, NCR team mechanics will “undress” the car to make it ready for the modified, open class competitions. Also on Saturday are the all-wheel drive, sports car class and the old-School division.
