Recently, my Dad did something which reminded me of how I was in school.
Last week, I was still ill and I had to report for work because of an event
that I am not allowed to miss. He offered to go with me that day just in
case I was too weak to go on my own. It was like grade school all over
again when he used to accompany me to school when I'm sick hehehe...
While waiting for the event to start, I felt a lil light-headed that I had to
lie down, he propped my head on his lap and he let me sleep for a bit...
That's what I usually do, I'd rest my head on his lap if I'm sick coz that
would make me feel better especially when he lightly taps on my shoulder,
the soothing "pik-pik" -- his trademark hehehe...
Unfortunately, I had to go home in the middle of the event because my fever
escalated and I needed complete bed rest. Good thing my dad was around
when I needed all the comfort during that day
Thanks so much Dad

- he never wants me to cut my hair shorter than shoulder level
- he always buys me what I want when I'm sick
- he loves playing one-on-one basketball with me or 2on2 with my brothers
- he loves planning beach outings with me and if someone else like mom or my tita's would plan it, he always makes sure that I'd approve of it
- he loves watching me play volleyball and even challenges me whenever I make a mistake by saying "Is that all you've got to show me?" (well he's a former MVP during his days in basketball so I understand why he challenges me in my sport so much )
- he's always patient with me even if I have hurt him in ways I have never intended to and he loves me just the same, from the moment he laid eyes on me inside the Chong Hua Hospital nursery. I know it because I feel it all the time. ^_^
