i dont think nokor should be taken lightly, they are backed up by russian and chinese forces. Remember the korean war,it saw american and sokor infantry fighting against russian, nokor and chinese infantry.

Most of its aircraft are obsolete Soviet and Chinese models, but it has been modernizing since the 1980s, acquiring relatively new aircraft such as the MiG-29.

pero as you can see, mga old aircraft na ni.. no match for the F-16 and F-15. Maybe they can use this as kamikazi fighters nalang. kay kung air to air, i dont think so.

and in terms sa training, the amount of annual flying hours (AFH) per pilot is, like almost every other aspect of the NKAF, very hard to estimate. Most sources on the subject abstain from giving hard numbers, but all of them estimate the average annual flying hours per pilot as being 'low' to 'very low'. The amount of annual flying hours is of course very important in estimating the individual skill and experience of the pilots of an air force and the general rule of thumb is 'the more the merrier'. Most estimates present a rather grim picture: AFH per pilot for the NKAF are said to be only 7, 15 or 25 hours per pilot each year - comparable to the flying hours of air forces in ex-Soviet countries in the early 1990s. In comparison, most NATO fighter pilots fly at least 150 hours a year.

clinton administartion are afraid to do such action, kung bush pa na administration for sure naa jud pre emptive strike.
Actually im not talking about the airforce alone attacking the South.. what i mean is the massive conventional force of Nokor will overwhelm the South...

Kung sa Airforce lang.. advantage ang South.. but conventionally its a mismatch.. mao nag base ang Kano dha to help...

Bush can't wage too many wars.. their forces were already overstretched in Iraq & Afghanistan... they're gonna be humiliated if they will open a third front...

Just like last August, their allies, Georgia, equipped and trained by US was blitzkrieg'd by Russia's conventional forces using low tech weapons... the US watched helplessly as their allies was getting @$$ kicked..

Low tech weapons doesnt mean it cant kill..

i will qoute you for this, "Like I said before", i never said that japan is the target, i only said "it landed near japan", i don't know where you get the idea that japan is the target any sovereign nation will not allow any aircraft or missile pass over their territory, without a permit, it is somewhat considered an act of war...

The NOKOR pre emptive strike issue was during the Clinton era, that means US was not yet at war with Iraq and Afghanistan, so there will be no third front it will be the only front. It means during that time if Bush is the president, he can launch a pre emptive strike to NOKOR.

About Georgia and Russia, yes Georgia is one of the allies of the US, some georgian troops was trained by US, thats why even the overwhelming force of mother Russia was unleashed, georgian troops manage to fire back, shooting down several fighter jets of Russia and some tanks. It was a david and goliath fight but they manage fight back. But how come Russia did not finish the job? because Russia is afraid of NATO and US, so US was not watching helplessly, they manage to pressure Russia to pull back.

    OT:

    What finish do you mean?

The objective of the Russian counter attack was to repel the Georgian take over of the breakaway republic of South Ossetia.

They flush out the Georgian forces and paralyzed their military... after that, South Ossetia and Abkhazia declared independent from Georgia...

If Russia is afraid it won't attack a US ally, but hey, they were surprised and shocked how Russia managed to deploy troops within 24 hours, the USA couldn't even help...

Actually Russia threatened to nuke US and its allies if they will interfere...

So the EU brokered the ceasefire deal (in Russia's terms) coz USA was helpless..

As Ive said... they can't open a third front... and Putin exposed it..

As long as they have those KEI's, let it rain missiles then...

By the way, who will intercept those rocket parts that falls off after flight?

i mean finish the job, attack the capital of Georgia, but they did not, why?

your sure Russia paralyze the Georgian troops? i dont think so, they just pull back to protect the capital, when you say paralyze, they cant deploy or protect the capital or the president.

about the rapid deployment, they should be, they are one of the superpower before, and Georgia is just in there door step, shame on them if they cant, but some of the analyst said that russia have been preparing for this assault coz the south Ossetia is working with them.

georgia is a small country but they manage to fight back, they made it difficult to the russians, not ike US when they attack Iraq, floweless.. this show mother russia is poor not like the old days.

never heard this one, source please. coz if its true russia is so disperate if they wil use this one.

US is not the only nation that will help Georgia, you have NATO. France brokered the ceasefire coz he is not a member of NATO.

Russia is not that powerful anymore, glorious days of mother russia is gone, it cant afford to go to war with NATO and US. All they have is nuke, which will end the world if they will use this.
