    Default Yes or no ?

I dont know ug buhi paba ni nga topic, im just new here sa istorya forum, when i browse the topics, this one catched my attention, since 2010 ellection is fast approaching, i bileived nice nga buhion ni cya nga topic to inlighten minds of some people.

    My opinion:

Does GMA needs to resign? yes or no?
    - This question is a little tricky, well, if your source of deciding is based on news lang sa TV, tabloid and other media files, well dapat jud sya pahawaon, with all the controversys sa iyaha. but i believe the real isue here is not just "to Oust her or not", as a concerned filipino, if we want changes i think we should start digging up the main Cause of all the Effects!!!!

    Reality:

This government that we have, is not actualy "Our Government", it was a government of those what we call "The Rich and the Famous" or should i say "Power Broker". But who are these people? These people choose somebody to represent for them to protect their interest, these people are the Richiest and most Powerfull businessman in this country (Quangco, Lopez, Ayala etc.). Those names of people that we wrote in our Ballot during election were actually not our choice, it was not we who choose them, but, those "BIG fishes" who choose them, our part in the election is to just select who among their choices should we favor, evethough, after the election, whoever wins is not actually what the people wanted/needed, but those people that this "Big fishes" have choosen.

So as you notice, the names of people we wrote in our ballot today, are the same names our great great grand fathers have wrote during their times (Macapagal, Estrada, Quangco, Aquino... etc), and same problems or issue before and today.

So come to think of it, is the real problem here, the President? FG Aroyo? the Presidents Sons? Relatives?
is your answer Yes? How about if i ask you, isn't it the problem was the SYSTEM?

    Conclusion and Recomendations:
These problems would not end, if the main Cause would not be resolve. this coming 2010 election the names of people we will write in our ballot are the same people we wrote during 2004 election, these people are those what we call TRAPO (Traditional Politician), after the election same problem will arise; Corruption, poverty, education etc. and up to the time of our great great grand children, they will be facing same System, same Problems, Same Leaders. I remember a famous qoute "History Repeats Itself" and i must add "For those who never learned".

with the System we have i see no hope, but i beleive we can do something, Change the Constitution and ammend the law, yes i mean CHArter CHAnge!!! i am not Pro GMA nor Against her, but i am difinetly Against of the Constitutional System that we have today! Some Anti-GMA would have the allegation that CHACHA today wasnt the right time, this would only be used as a tool to prolong the reign of GMA, this reminds me off UP (Univ. of the Phil.) saying during Peoples Power "Kung hindi ngayon, Kailan? kung hindi ako, sino?" i believe after the 2010 election, changing the constitution wouldnt be heard anymore, it won't be prioritized by whoever wins, know why? for example, if another GMA-alike would win as president, why would he ammend the constitution if that would lessen his power as a president? in the proposed constitution, the council sorrounding the prime minister has enough power to oust the current prime minister if his not doing well.
now, granting changing the constitution today would prolong the term of GMA, so what? after all GMA is 50 years old plus, i dont beleive she still would reached the age of 100 years old, if the charter would be amended today and GMA would still be the prime minister, granting she would reached the age of 100 years old (Impossible) we only have 50 years of agony (If the council wont oust her right away), than having same system that we have today and suffer for an infinite time. changes wont hapen in a blink of an eye, it happen with a single step, and that step begin with you, with us!

Now the Question maybe, Change the Constitution and live like hell for few years (granting GMA would still be the prime minister)? or stay with the current Sytem and live like hell FOREVER? its your call, after all, IT SHOULD BE OUR GOVERNMENT.

PS. xenxa na sa gramar, im not a writer nor a gramarian, im just a concerned Filipino

THIS IS VERY HUMILIATING STORY....... ... I DON'T KNOW HOW TO BELIEVE BUT WE SHOULD BE AWARE OF WHAT IS HAPPENING IN OUR COUNTRY.

To All Filipino Overseas Workers (OFWs):

The Financial Analyst of World Bank would like to inform each and everyone of you that the present currency exchange rate of US Dollar to Peso is actually $1 = 52 pesos. Your government is manipulating the exchange rate for some years now.

It is very much improbable and impossible that the Philippine Peso is appreciating compare to Euro, British Pound, Rials, and any other foreign currency. Even your ASEAN neighboring countries are suffering from the Global Crisis. Singapore , a
developed country is affected by depreciation of their currency what more
    of your country?

We admire you for your hard work but we also pity you for having such a very corrupt government that is taking advantage of your hard earned money. The ARROYO ADMINISTRATION is blatantly milking each and every OFWs all over the world of billions of pesos for its own greedy, selfish ends. Investigations reveal that this milked money from OFWs will be spent to BRIBE not only PGMA's pet COCODILES in CONGRESS but some in the SENATE as well for her to PERPETUATE IN POWER BEYOND 2010.

The rest would be deposited to the family's SECRET ACCOUNT
in Switzerland . Another money-making scheme is the LOTTERY DRAWS. Filipinos
should be aware that all LOTTO DRAWS are orchestrated, and big money goes
to the two sons of the lady president. Recent example is the SUPER LOTTO
6/49 draw, where supposedly two individuals from Luzon won. Do you know
WHO these individuals are? It's Mikey and Datu, who else?

One might ask how could the draw be rigged when it is being televised in front
Of millions of viewers. The answer is simple. As you all know, all
Bet combinations are being entered into PCSO's main data base as it is
on-line, therefore, it is easy to determine which combinations were NOT
betted upon. If they want to raise big money, no winners will be declared until
the JACKPOT reaches sky-high because they could dictate the outcome at
will. When it's "HARVEST TIME", viola, there would be "winner or winners" and the process repeats all over again.

One might ask how this is Being done. One insider told our investigators that actually the "DRAWN BALLS", six balls to be exact, are the only set which could fit into the transparent tube which sucks the balls up. All others are slightly bigger than the diameter of the tube which could not be distinguished by the viewers, therefore, there's no way they could be drawn! You Filipinos are being skinned alive, fried in your own fat and lard by your own government.

Do you ever wonder why president-elect BARACK OBAMA, avoids your president like a stinking leper?

We are once again confronted with a serious political crisis caused by the series of exposes of big-time corruption and bribery involving top officials of the Arroyo administration. As responsible and concerned members of the University of the Philippines Manila academic community, we believe it is our duty and right to make our voices heard and to take a stand on the social ills affecting everyone of us.

We believe that integrity and accountability in public office have been severely compromised putting in serious doubt the credibility and legitimacy of the present political dispensation and therefore its capacity to govern.

We are gravely concerned with the persistence of a culture of impunity with the government’s indifference and inutility in prosecuting and punishing all those involved in cases of extrajudicial killings, enforced disappearances, and torture. We condemn the continued disappearance of two UP students: Sherlyn Cadapan and Karen Empeņo. There is no place for these human rights violations in a democratic society.

We are outraged by moves of the Arroyo administration to silence witnesses to anomalies and prevent people from participating in peaceful assemblies to express their sentiments.
