Understand, be prepared and be ready with your suupporting materials
imung i friend imung class..
block ba mo?
i-close sila kai once you get to know them, you'll feel comfortable speaking in front of them..
nia work on your self-confidence and public-speaking skills pud..
practice in front of the mirror..
always show up in class prepared..
1. know your subject matter or topic by heart (meaning, not memorized but you fully understood it)
2. shake off your nervousness by taking deep breaths and jump thrice before you step in the room
3. be there ahead of time so you won't feel the pressure
4. take the podium or stay infront, then scan the room and say it in ur mind that you can do it
5. before you start ur report, scan the audience and ur prof with a big smile to give off confidence so they wouldn't intimidate u even more then start
6. start first with an outline of ur report so they wud know what they are expected to learn
7. don't rely more on the cue cards coz they are usually the mind blocks to a successful report
8. always keep in mind to have eye contact coz that's a plus in reporting
9. give examples so your audience can relate to ur topic -- it wud end up ur giving a good report not solely coming from a book
10. most importantly, ENJOY the ride while in the platform... it's an opportunity to impress your prof and ur classmates what u can offer in class
Good luck![]()
