    bro, miyay means no harm

    everytime you hear any words of "sympathy" na sa tingin mo (in your perspecetive) eh medyo pabor sa kay "anghelita" or the alleged "scammers" eh you start throwing such words/statements... (you know what i mean)... chill out lang bro although i know medyo mahirap on your end. (and we understand you)...

    miyay's trying to help you out by mentioning the legal aspects (kung meron bang repercussions ang pag-post ng names...).

    let me consult with our co-istoryan member na lawyer (she's not in anyway connected with istorya.net admin other than being a member sa forum). she visits diri sa business section every now and then. probably she can shed some light in this matter ... but again bro, do what you have to do. respetar langta sa opinion sa uban. peace

    small investment with very big returns, easy come but most of the time easy go as well.
    a very common story with MLMs, even if the business starter's intentions were pure in the beginning, it just became another busted MLM in the end. Get investments from john to pay joe until wala nang investor mahanap and everything collapsed.

    Good luck with your case and I sincerely hope none of you invested your life savings here.

    @PMT devil - calma lang bro, i was just concerned for you. sorry if you took it out of context. we shouldn't let our quest for justice make us an open target for it's sting. i'm not a lawyer but i think prudence should guide our actions...

    @smurky & sol_itaire - thanks..

    check this link: https://www.istorya.net/forums/busine...per-month.html

    i hope nobody in istorya.net encountered the same unfortunate "business" experience both PMT Devil and pinggarcia went through.

    the way i see it, as i've deduced from my observations in this thread and and the other thread "khayang" created before, these alleged "scammers" really mean to invest the money in a legal way. but here comes the unexpected (which no stock exchange specialist have anticipated) downturn of the US economy. you get the picture.

    (again, thoery lang to. coz were trying to fathom the root of this issue) to continue, what happened? napasubo na si "angelita" sa investment niya, marami na siyang napa-"oo or YES", naka-collect na sya ng pera sa mga investors and these investors are now waiting for their "15%" interest without knowing their money went down the drain dahil sa US economy and the unprecedented fall of "foreign exchange" stocks .

    anong ginawa ni "anghelita"? she has nowhere to go. she panicked. siguro, naisip niyang solution eh hanap ng bagong investors and pay those people who are waiting for their monthly interest na 15% while keeping her fingers crossed and hoping that the US economy will bounce back sooner and she can recover the losses of the investments. kaso, as you see in the news, expected na medyo magtatagal pa ang recovery ng US economy.

    naturally "anghelita" problems keeps getting biggger - simula na ng "bounced checks", di na niya mabayaran ang lahat ng naghihintay ng interest nila, iniiwasan na niya ang mga investors coz she dont know what to say or she doesnt have to courage to face them, nagbabakasakali pa rin siyang makakuha ng bagong investors pero medyo mahirap na. at eto ang nangyari, lumaki ng lumaki ang problema hanggang di na niya ma-solusyunan and shes now experiencing the "snowball" effect.

    sino ang talo dito? si "anghelita" at mga kasama niya (kasama na ang kanilang "reputasyon at pangalan") at higit sa lahat.... silang mga kawawang investors....

    Nice theory, sir. In fact, the same scenario kept on playing in my mind before. And I ask anghelita several times, point blank! If she has lost them all in forex. She keep on saying "No, walang problema," and in fact she send me 2 screenshots of her Marketiva accounts.

    The first Marketiva screenshot has 2 live accts, the RGS (Romulo Samson Sr), and the Live Account is hers and samm's daw, with balances of $5649 and $4524, respectively.

    The second Marketiva screenshot belongs to her friend naman daw with balance of $6277.

    The date of the screenshots was made and sent to me last Sept 29, 2008.

    A few days later, on Oct 1 and 2, she made withdrawals from the 2 accounts, $3500 and $2800, respectively, for a total of $6300. She sent me some screenshots too. And ask me to wait for a week or so, as the money will be coming in soon.

    Now, the question is, where is the money? Obviously, it has been withdrawn and the money is in HER BANK now. Oh, I remember she told me pala, the money she withdrew - a total of $6300, was her share alone!

    OFF TOPIC:
    I also noticed something, yesterday, just before PMT Devil and I posted some proofs, a lot of iSTORYA.NET members are "pressuring" us to put up or shut up. In fact, this thread is under the threat that it is going to be deleted within 48 hours.

    Now that we have posted the "proofs," I hope the same pressure can be applied to anghelita or samm to reply? Or at the very least, their friends can inform them about this thread. Surely, if I were in their shoes, I will do something to rectify the situation, by paying up immediately, with the amount of money they have in their possession. At least it should be enough to cover a portion of what they have taken from all of us.

    As of last count, 5 PMT members and PMT Devil here. Unless there are some other that we are not aware of.

    What I am aware of is this:

    Note(s):
    - iSTORYA.NET, its Owners, Administrators, and Moderators will not be held liable for any transaction coursed thru this public forum.

    I also read similar cases here before, and it was always the same--the parties were encouraged to settle their conflict outside the forum. The forum kasi is not the best venue to settle disputes/conflicts. It can be used to "pressure" either party, but there should be limits to such use of pressure.

    I think, ping, that you have provided all the necessary proofs against angelita. This forum is pressure enough for her, don't you think so?

    Try to understand the friends naman. They're not involved. They just happen to know him. The most they can do is inform angelita and samm, but if the couple don't pick up the phone or answer messages/emails, what more can they do?

    Between you and the friends of anghelita, you are more in the position to take action. I believe the friends will do naman what they can, but we cannot really expect much. Like what you said, they are not involved.

    I'm not speaking in behalf of any friend here of anghelita. i don't know anghelita and samm, and I'm not a moderator/admin staffer here. I'm just sharing my opinion on the issue.

    Point taken... We believe this is not about any accusation against Angel and the people behind her, the issue here is what she has done. Proofs are already laid for you people to see, as "requested". And after such documents being posted, what we are doing is not accusing her as some of you are so sensitive about.

    These people were given as what Ping has narrated a chance to explain, and we even reached out to them to the extent of contacting her mother Gloria and asked to let her daughter at least face the people she scammed. But sad to say still no Angel came out to face the problem.

    OT: Be aware of “Get Rich-Quick” Investment scams. If the promised interest rate return on investment is “unusually large” compared to the actual market rate, most probably it is an investment scam. No legal business will pay you double or triple the current market interest rate . If somebody promised an interest rate of 5% or more per month let say in this case 15%, that will be a 180% interest rate per annum. No business can generate that big profit for them, the investors. It is usually a scam and they will use your investment money to pay the interest of the other investors. This is commonly called as “pyramiding” it will crumble at some point in time only the pyramid owner will be rich and ran off with your money... Sooo obvious... But then again... It's tempting!
