^^ i agree anah bro! dili mana techinician ang compe.. naa sad same sa EcE anah.. ky naa man electronics and EcE they thought sad nga kabaw mi mo ayu og TV, or unsa pa nah dha? dili man sad mi technician... wala tawn mi subject anah.

ingon amo teacher sa ethics nga sa philippine laws mas dako ug advantage ang EcE kay they can practice as EcEs and/or CompEs..pero if ako pangutan on which is better moagree ko sa mga previous na poster nga it would depend on u kay ug dli ka ganahan bati jud na...

advantage ang COMPE kung imo kuhaon ug una...kay 1 yr na lang ang kulang ECE na pud ka, kung naka-graduate ka as COMPE


while if nakahuman na kag ECE, 2-3 yrs para makahuman kag COMPE...

sa inganan nga aspect...hehehe...

basta kay nagengineering ka.. mao nay pinaka da best nga kurso... mga tao walay libog.. rugged but educated.. coolll... palahubog nga bright.. hehehe... sos nindot skwela balik sa tc...

There is nothing to compare mga bai. Lahi ra ni sila na field. Although some says that under ang compe sa ece, they are partly right. Since puro naa bag o from time to time ang technology, nag ka anam ka complicated ang mga studies. CompE and ECE kay udner siya sa isa ka dept before sa TC. When the population grew in CompE, they need to detach from the department. Nakig share ra ang compe ato ug dept, dili fused ang compe sa ece. so dili pod ka maka ingon nga under ang compe sa ece. If you can check the dept sa ece, naay tupad na room sa present room sa chairman sa ece. Kanang tupad na room is the room for the chair of compe.

Anyway, all in all, they are all different, although same on some cases, pero ang basics lang. They have their own unique fields.

naa man daw changes ang COMPE sa TC? nxt sem d naman daw xa e butang sa COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, sa CAS daw xa ibutang? HIMUON nsad daw ug COMPUTER studies? ka bati ug ngan.. hehehehe

Administration are planning to create a new COLLEGE, not to rename a course. This will be the College of Computer Studies. And dili siya ibutang sa College of Arts and Sciences. A NEW COLLEGE. It will cover the Dept. of Computer Engg, Dept. of CS, and Dept. of IT (CS and IT will have its own dept) Same ra tanan curriculum. Ang kalahian lang kay ang budget, mas centralized. Dako na makuha na budget gikan sa taas. Pero these are still plans lang. Pero I myself am very excited sa kani na plan. I hope this will push through because it will open more doors to the 3 depts.
