Athletic or not they still don't have the bulk which some of the people here insist that it's a requirement in the NBA and that goes for Rubio too.

So you're insinuating that because European basketball is inferior than American basketball, Rubio will end up as a bust? It's not necessary to learn the American way before joining the NBA, just take a look at Drazen Petrovic, Vlade Divac, Peja Stojakovic, and Dirk Nowitzki. And Nowitzki ain't that big for a big man either.

Both Rudy Fernandez and Marc Gasol are 23 years old, imagine how good Rubio will be in that age.

Compare the impact of a 17 year old LeBron James on the team to Rubio. James is athletic, strong, and tall but he doesn't have the maturity that Rubio has at that age.

I'd even bet my life on it. If the price is right, Rubio will be among the well established NBA stars in the years to come. Take note that his basketball IQ is enormous at his age.

I havn't seen that game between spain and lithuania but come on, comparing rubio to jc? lols! jc has a nice touch in the perimeter but who sets the offense for him and for the whole spanish squad? again its rubio. the kid showed a lot of poise during the olympics, it's a testament how great he is and will become. we're talking about a big time point guard here who plays big games.
