As much as we want to, we simply cannot afford to be redundant at this time.

Anyhow, our firewall is having stability issues and a replacement is already under way. Once the new hardware is configured and installed, we should be having a much better uptime. For the time being, please bear with us.

As far as we can tell, there's no DDoS attack. It's just an old hardware wanting to retire.

To have an ideal failover setup, it will cost us the same amount of money that we are spending right now. Basically, backend expenses will be twice as much.

Server performance is not always perfect. Thus, we need to be li'l considerate especially that we are using this site for free and not just complaining like a taxpayer if the site goes down without getting enough explanation from the admin.
