Bai, if you enjoy being a rat in the rat race, you live with that thinking. Anyone with experience in work or business will tell you to "find a job that fits your lifestyle. not adjust your lifestyle to fit your job."

In short, kung daghan ko wants it is my right to want it and it is my resourcefulness to find a job that will provide me the means to get what I want.

You find a job that lets you live comfortably not pirmi higpit. If your needs increase then find another job that will satisfy that need.

It's a cycle man gud bai. You can't let companies have all the fun. They provide a service or fill a need to the customer. You, as the employee, provide a service to fill a need of the employer. You earn money, you spend it and the cycle goes around. Ang ang pud na magkita sila sa customer nya magkita pud sila sa imo. You may think makadatu na nila bai but you're wrong. If money doesn't change hands the economy stagnates. Everyone loses.

For the sake of example lang if people here say ang insik ra nagkupot sa kwarta and magtinihik na sila, what happens to our city? Diba patay ang economy? Money is not moving. And what will the chinese get in return? wala! Just some big number in their bank accounts that will mean nothing if it goes nowhere. It's like naghangol sila ug gold but you have nowhere to spend it. This also the nature of the recession. Tanan tao nagtipid kai lisud ang panahon. In fact, they are adding fuel to the fire.

Mao na I spend time and again because somewhere at the back of my head I know if I hold on to ALL my cash, it won't serve a purpose, it will not feed another family, it will not pay someone's wages and it will not GO BACK to me.

i already stated in my previous post that i am not from either cebu or manila. so walay home court advantage. i have been living on my own for more than 10 years total. in Davao, in Manila and now in Cebu, so I pretty well know what I am talking about. I fully encourage this attitude bai. Kai if ang tao makontento asa nalang kaha ta ron? Naghuot na siguro ta didto kung asa to si Adam & Eve nagpuyo. Kung kuntento pa ang tao walay eroplano molupad ron. Walay kurente. Walay computer. Walay internet.

Discontentment is a sign of a growing mind bai. The simplest example of that is when you were young you were contented with playing with your pillow, then you got bored and when on to baby toys, then action figures and so on.

Ako bai I'm happy that I am not contented. There is more to this life than just sitting down. For a minute I also thought it was wrong to be discontented but now I understand that I have outgrown my current situation. Most people would probably hide under the guise of "running to god" to soothe their discontentment. But that is just a lie they tell themselves.
