not all "G" department store "sales ladies" = 170-200php a day
L-N grocery store "sales ladies = 120-160php a day
internet attendant 12hrs shift = 100-250php a day
"U" department store= 150php a day....

Bro, duol ra man diay imo trabaho, ngano di man ka maglakaw? Ako naa pud baya ko manila. If I take a jeep it takes me 30-45mins. My office is only 1.5kms away. I take a walk it takes me 20mins (provided you plan your route). Ngano igasto mana ako kwarta para pamasahe na pwede ra man diay lakwon? Libre mana ang lawas nimo. Healthy pa. Ang natigum nimo na kwarta pwede pangdagdag for lunch or dinner. In fact, I enjoy walking pa gani. Karon na summer na I enjoy sweating it out! I walk everyday to work except in the morning when it's already extremely hot in the summer but that's nothing an umbrella won't fix.

Mas mahal sa manila? Sort of, but not significantly. As what onig.heck stated, in Cebu you're living with your family. Try living on your own bai and you'd be surprised how very close your expenses are in Manila. Why is it so hard for most people to see that reality? If you live on your own mahal gyud na. Don't blame the city, blame your life!

i already stated in my previous post that i am not from either cebu or manila. so walay home court advantage. i have been living on my own for more than 10 years total. in Davao, in Manila and now in Cebu, so I pretty well know what I am talking about. I hope you read all posts before you react, dili kahol lang ke kahol without reading thouroughly.

and guys, the 17 pesos na increase is at pa ni 2008. kadto from 250 pesos to 267. please check the date sa first post. as of the moment wala pa amount sa increase sa central visayas, or anywhere outside NCR. for NCR walay increase for basic salary. ecola ang gihatag 22 pesos.
