I feel invigorated when I work with a lot of laughter.
I feel weakened when I do something counting the minutes dying to end it.
Has anyone of you watched Marcus Buckingham's workshop on Oprah.com - Live Your Best Life - Oprah.com Tan-awa nya to ninyu super nice kaayu.
Marcus Buckingham believes in perfecting our strengths instead of our weaknesses. For example, society dictates that if we are weak in math, then we should study it more. while he is not against improving a weakness, for him we would succeed in life more if we focus on our strengths instead. kung weak ka sa math, most likely strong ka in the languages or the arts, so didto kuno ka mo focus and eventually build a career that expresses those strengths.
A sign that we are not using our strengths at work: we dread our jobs. walay ka excitement2x. we can't wait for off time.
Conversely, a sign that we are utilizing our strengths at work: we are focused. we feel invigorated by what we do. we love 70% of the tasks in our workweek (this means naa juy aspect sa job nga di nimo feel, but majority kay ganahan ka).
